so why do i need the audio interface? is it needed if i have a mixer? or will i plug everything into the mixer, then plug that into a single input interface then plug that into my computer.. right? please respond bro! Thanks!
waht he spends in alll that is bull shit i did mine without spend the money use ur stereo sound ur school heasphones stole it haha and use mixcraft is fucking better
@BiggieBalls3 there is an guitar amp simulator in Pro Tools, ive been doing that alot lately,it sounds just as good, just plug your guitar into a 1/4 jack on your interface (M-Box or FastTrack) or other.
wtf is a NUMA microphone. Its pronunced Neaumann (ok so there is no good way to write that out but this guy isnt even close.) also this guy may know a bit but not enough to justify making these videos
i have a microphone but its a USB mic... nd the sound card of the computer doesnt produce a very good recording sound.. nd i kno i need a sound card(interface) but my mic is USB... so what should i do?
@JakeDaveyMusic try to use an external audio interface like m-audio fast track. if you still got the latency just try to adjust the settings on the interface's software
I can record with acid pro on my laptop fine but when i try to record through my desktop computer the sound lags? eg: play a note on my guitar then hear it a second later im not sure how to fix this problem any help would be appreciated :)
which studio speaker do u have, i want a pair for my bedroom. small one, so my budget aint much which ones can i get for around 400$ or something like that
i gotta ask, is the keyboard mandatory if your building your own recording studio or is a synth on its own alright? its just i see that most, if not every, studio has the keyboard.
@Pyro5139 It's not mandatory at all. I worked for nearly two years without one, but they do help tremendously. If you don't have the money, you can live without it.
i dont like m-audio preamps, not good quality, and i dont like krs monitors, at the same price you can buy esi near 08 ex or something better, and also more quality monitor
hey yo.. can you help me? I have a Korg m3 expanded, a professional piano and computer, on my way to build a studio. could you help me with that? i don't know where to go on from here.
I've barely decided to start producing and making music. How mush do u guys estimate it will all cost? And do i need the interface when i have a Mixer?
nice equipment bro, quick question though. i run off a netbook, pretty modern but you know how the memory is on them, when i record, i lags sometimes on the program, you think i should record while my 500 gb hard drive is pluged in? never tried it, idk if that would help it get fast
hey wats up? need some advice im poor, not to the fullest, but i love music till im stupid at times when i hear my favourite tracks, i make instrumentals through fl studio great beats. anyways i cant afford studio speakers, studio mikes/headphones, basically the studio stuff, i av a computer 1gb virtual ram, 80 gb. storage space, intel r processor. plz could you tell me how to go about doing professional music with jus this amount of equipment i have. i dont have pro tools.
@dj2ernest I say this in the nicest possible way but you have to put in the money to get better with your productions. If your serious about it you have to shell out a bit but it will be worth it. You can stick with what you have but the end product will be limited by your software. It's a great place to start but if you want to get better you need to invest :)
@dj2ernest i'd say go 4 headphones/speakers first if ya making beats. after downloading some new VSTs for FL Studio. maybe start gettin samples. headphones r cool but i recommend speakers with a sub so u can feel it. eventually tho bro u will hafta upgrade. its a constant upgrade. work with what u got for now, put money in a jar once in a while or something, like a music fund. if ya really want it u will find ways to make it happen :) im savin for a new mic at the moment so i know how ya feel.
Thanks! this help so much, im just about to build a home studio :) and i wasnt really sure what i need and stuff you know.. but i was already thinking about buyin Neumann 103 !
May I request you stream a Live session on like BlogTV or uStream someday soon when your working on something and inform us when it's happening. I would love too see your production process as a fellow producer!
