@BiggieBalls3 there is an guitar amp simulator in Pro Tools,ive been doing that alot lately,it sounds just as good,just plug your guitar into a 1/4 jack on your interface (M-Box or FastTrack) or other.

I can record with acid pro on my laptop fine but when i try to record through my desktop computer the sound lags? eg: play a note on my guitar then hear it a second later im not sure how to fix this problem any help would be appreciated :)

i gotta ask, is the keyboard mandatory if your building your own recording studio or is a synth on its own alright? its just i see that most, if not every, studio has the keyboard.

@Pyro5139 It's not mandatory at all. I worked for nearly two years without one, but they do help tremendously. If you don't have the money, you can live without it.

hey wats up? need some advice im poor, not to the fullest, but i love music till im stupid at times when i hear my favourite tracks, i make instrumentals through fl studio great beats. anyways i cant afford studio speakers,studio mikes/headphones, basically the studio stuff, i av a computer 1gb virtual ram, 80 gb. storage space, intel r processor. plz could you tell me how to go about doing professional music with jus this amount of equipment i have. i dont have pro tools.

@dj2ernest I say this in the nicest possible way but you have to put in the money to get better with your productions. If your serious about it you have to shell out a bit but it will be worth it. You can stick with what you have but the end product will be limited by your software. It's a great place to start but if you want to get better you need to invest :)

@dj2ernest i'd say go 4 headphones/speakers first if ya making beats. after downloading some new VSTs for FL Studio. maybe start gettin samples. headphones r cool but i recommend speakers with a sub so u can feel it. eventually tho bro u will hafta upgrade. its a constant upgrade. work with what u got for now, put money in a jar once in a while or something, like a music fund. if ya really want it u will find ways to make it happen :) im savin for a new mic at the moment so i know how ya feel.
