  • Wow... flashback. For a brief moment I was four years old and in the Kingdome again.

  • @explodingnipple This is why I like the current MLS expansion strategy of promoting old USL/NASL clubs that played back in the old NASL (Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Montreal). Bring in a team that already has a well established tradition and fan base behing it.

  • @MrGman2022 Tulsa Roughnecks FTW!

  • @danielshorter

very true, it sounding really wierd watching you guys on tv in the playoffs. You have the largest supporters group in the MLS and cover it up with this.

  • also, the guy who plays all the high notes doesn't move at all... and he terribly resembles bobby hill from that one show.

  • Go to a sounders game and see how well the band idea actually works. Until you have done that your opinion is worthless

  • yeah mr.lundquist

  • I want to hurt the guy blowing the plastic horn in the background.

  • the guy with the white hat closest to the camera on the right is my band teacher mr lundquist

  • I heard that Sounders FC got the score from All City Band.

  • You can tell that this song was written in the '70's

  • Yep. And to those of us who grew up hearing it blasted over the speakers at the Kingdome in the NASL days, it still stirs the soul.

  • @OrangesAtHalftime .On KVI. When my friend and I took our seats at the opener at Qwest and I heard this song, I had to pretend to yawn so I could explain away the tears in my eyes. Same as hearing the 'Exploration Northwest' theme after so many years. Btw, wdgarraway's comment is correct.

  • In my opinion, All-City has a better rendition of the song.

  • Theme? movies have themes, this is sports, it's called a Fight Song! very cool

  • actually the real title of the song is "Sounder's Theme"

  • Actually the real title is "Salute to the Olympians"

A song written by Henry Mancini

  • @wdgarraway Thank you! Your comment caused a long dormant brain cell to fire up. It was one of Bud's immortal Olympic documentaries. 1972?
