@MySelene0:28-0:45 could use a little bit more tenudo and more force :)
Your hands also seem a little tense around that part, strained as if you were feeling slightly uncomfortable around there.
Throughout the piece, you seem to be getting ever so close to the finger board when you're playing forte. I suggest that you play forte closer the bridge, and piano closer towards to the fingerboard. There isn't an exact placement, and all violins are different, so you'll have to experiment.
@pplsuq What's the difference? I've just learned this concerto by the suzuki version (I don't know which one) and for example, some solos that are repetitive and a lot easier in most versions, are more like arpeggios, and with alternated slurred notes... I wonder which version am I playing...
Hey, you were great, but I couldn't help but wonder why it didn't seem like you did vibrato when it sounded like it? As far as constructive criticisms... you might want to seem more relaxed, yes u should be focused, and serious, but not necessarily intensely un-relaxed -it's far more pleasing to see calm facial expressions. Also, try to stay off the fingerboard. Other than that though, very pleasing, thank you
very nice. my only suggestion is to play more in the lower part of the bow. you tend to play near the tip (don't worry i do that too XD) and playing lower will help you cross strings MUCH easier and give you a fuller sound. other than that wonderful job =)
ur a guy right? u kinda look like a girl, sorry if that sounds rude.... You expressions while playing that song r really fun to watch but i think u r really good! :D
It's very easy to find 'midi' files that include all the parts to a piece, unfrotunately in minor keys they can be hard to read because a computer does not understand the abstract subject editing music to be legible. for instance g# in a minor will likely be Ab then youll see a natural next to it, so very sloppy. Almost useless unless you have the original file and are opening it with the original program it was written, mostly only good for listening to the music.
As a violonist who have played this concerto many times I can say that your performance is pretty good, Probably you could try it "poco piu' allegro"... And do the other 2 parts, too.
@benedetti That's really pathetic, rude, and ignorant. Go get a life before you start insulting someone, and if you want to insult someone, at least give a freaking reason.
starting at 1:44 why is that the notes you'd played were different in suzuki piece...? can't you play in susuki piece that is why you played in easy way? i cant get the notes youd playen at 1:44
I worked for 2 months with the whole piece. After that i let more than half a year pass until I recorded this version. Just waiting mustn't be underestimated^^
That was good. Cupple suggestions, 1. rit. the ending and pause before playing the last note. makes it more the baroke style(did i spell that right) and 2. needs a bass player. :] (go bassest!)
im a violaist and i have to play this piece right now for my private teacher. and i have a few pointers. one relax! dude you look so tense! two: the instrutmen is your friend. lets not kill it. loosen your left hand. that will help your virato. and have fun. you look like its the worst day of life. and lift your right elbow. thatll help with trying to move your bow to strings other than the E.
Your left wrist seems to be very tense. try and relax it and add more vivid vibrato by gently rolling your wrist and balls of your fingers back and forth on the string.
I think it was lovely, would had been better with better sound quality, ofcourse.. :)
That piece made me look more careful in my own notes, and then I found the sheet for this aswell. It made me happy, because now I can play the first "catchy" part aswell ;)
where have you found accompaniment for this concert? please reply!

sandini89 2 years ago
"poco piu" ... um, 'poco' means 'little' right? so what's 'piu' ?
fluteHinata 2 years ago
"poco" means "little", "piu'" means "more". "Allegro" means "fast". Hence, "poco piu' allegro" means "a little bit faster".

qwertyuiwee23 2 years ago
I'm playing from the original notes.
I consider the suzuki version to be intended as some etude and not as a serious piece of music.
By the way, there are some more places, where the suzuki version differs from Vivaldis, but the one at 1:44 is of course the most obvious one.
