  • i needed 1 week and i could do 40-50 without resting

  • Whatever happened to this program? Did you give up after this? If so, you are pathetic.

  • Very good, I think the program is hard because it's designed on the fact you eat 6 time a day, with proper amount of proteins.

But alot of people forget this, and just eat pizza, and expect that the program is gonna do the job any way.

But your mucked need the proteins to build ;)

And how are your push ups now, after 2 years..

  • Did you finish this mate. I am starting week one tomorrow. Not going to post vids tho as I don't look as good as you shirtless!

  • did you manage to do it in the end????

cause i have been told by some pro trainers that the 100 push ups doesnt really matter....

its only for people who actually do it really fast and have incorrect poster....

they said to me that just do 10 but do it VERY slowly....

  • im sttarded doing push ups 3 weeks ago and know i can do 62 whit out problems :D btw im 14 :P

  • When you speed the push-ups up it sounds like a chipmunk getting it up the ass.

  • Hey, nice job. Good effort on your part. I'm on this program on week six and really enjoying it. Keep up the good work.

  • head up and lock ur elbows!

  • Proper push up: Chest lightly touches or taps the ground. Halfway is for pussies. Hands are placed shoulder length. May seem hard at first but you will get stronger faster.

  • @JesusTrolls

no chest does not touch the ground go down till your a couple inches from ground and come back up thats how the military teaches you

  • @thompson9400 Doing a push up is just like bench press. In bench the bar taps your chest and in push ups the bar taps the ground. Fucking get it?

  • gaylord, u cheated

  • hey i am really fat n extremely out of shape im 13 yos n want to do push ups but i cant even do 1! what should i do?

  • @bye5225 You could try doing them on your knees. Basically the same as a normal push-up in terms of form (Back straight, etc) but instead of your toes, it's your knees touching the ground and your feet pointing up. My sister-in-law did them like that for a while.

Let me know how it works out for you, and good on you for making the effort!

  • @Magnulus The news told me Heath Ledger died. Also how did I get here? I have a weight bench.

  • @bye5225 did it work on the knees?

  • @andrebgood yup i can do 29 now without stopping w/out knees

  • @bye5225 Lose fat, and break a leg

  • @bye5225 LOL, if you need help, this is y far the worst man you should ask. Start doing them on youre knees, and do push ups in a yaer, eat as much as you like, but try to play sports, like me, i was fat before when i was 13, but i started to play soccer and now im 17 yo, i can do 50 push ups easly now, ehm im also doing the hundred push ups thing, im in week 4 day 1! Good luck to everybody doing this program and to you little fat kid, do youre best man, and you will see results!

  • I always try to tack on maybe 3 more each week.

  • lol i did this like a month ago

  • im 13 and doing the same program as you and know that feeling where you can barely keep your body up. Selboriginal1 you try doing the program and then tell him hes a 13 year old emo girl. im going to post a halfway and end video of the program for me

  • don't have more videos of he 100 pushups program?

  • yeo no homo but I just watched your week 2 video & your abs show more here then the other vid so idc what nobody in here is saying what ever you doing is worth it

  • I have to redo week one lol I dont mind doing each routine for 2 weeks I mean 10 weeks aint that bad thats like 2 an half months so w/e

  • nightmare before christmas, who are you a 13 year old emo girl?

  • @Selboriginal1 Hmm... Yeah... See, the thing here is that you were in your nappies when I saw NBC in the cinema. There is more to most things than your prejudices, and I'm sure you'll come to realise that when you're a bit older.

  • @Magnulus not quite nappies but close... BUT Oh yes, Nightmare before Christmas is in fact a children's film. So who needs to grow up? Anyways am guessing since this was your last press up upload, you failed. I trained two weeks and doubled your "exhaustion test". lol

  • @Magnulus Oh yeah and by the way, you were doing your press ups far too slow, if you did them faster and put some effort in, it become alot easier.

  • @Magnulus Nightmare Before Christmas is awesome! =D

  • @Magnulus Nightmare Before Christmas is awesome! =D btw, did you actually complete the 6 weeks? am at day 1 in week 4 myself.

  • @Selboriginal1 lololololol

  • @Selboriginal1

I hear that! This dude is a un-dedicated pussy.

  • No you should grow your hair!!!

  • To be more successful try breaking it into 18 sessions with 4 days rest inbetween. Forget about six weeks and specific training days, the extra recovery just ensures that you'll have a productive session! You'll be on 100 without rest in no time!

    Good luck:-)

  • respect!

  • Hum this is not good, I gained 31 more push ups from week 2 to week 4, This is weird...

  • cool, finally a video thats show's reality i mean a video which shows how it goes in real live on telivision its impe but in real live its fucking hard.

  • I think the plan says 6 weeks, but it does not mean 6 weeks as a period of time. I think they say it like "6 stages" that take a week.

But the plan is good, i'm staying until i do my 100 rep :)

  • try putting your hands a little bit farther apart

  • haha chipmunk grunts. :)

nice job, way to keep working. I'm on week 2 now.

  • did you make it up to 100? just keep it up. and write your progress somewhere after every test. it's really inspiring when you see you are improvig your skills every week. when i started the program i was able to do 19 and now i can do 80 (60 without any rest) . i took me longer than six weeks to do it (six months :D ) but who cares :)

just keep it up and don't quit ;) it gets easier to acomplish 40 every week :)

  • Jack the Pumpkin King tat is sweet.

  • You are failing so bad. First of all none of the push-ups are done right. Your not all the way down man. And your even resting your hands twice by pulling ur ass up. Sure u get tired. But u cant count the pushups ass pushups.....

  • man u push your self hard!

  • work hard!

  • you need to bring your elbows in closer to your body on the way down. also put your head up (looking forward), not down at the ground. and go down further, bringing your chest within an inch from the ground. it'll be harder but its the proper way to do it and you will progress at a much higher rate. you'll be very surprised. elbows in, head forward, go all the way down! also maybe put your hands in a little more, under your shoulders

  • did you complete the program???

  • did you give up?

  • Hey, i've never done this test but i had a look at it, i think it would be better if you varied the type of pushups that you do. I reccomend doing ultra wide pushups and hip pushups as they put a lot of strain on the upper body. If you also want a different exercise i recommed dips :D

Search for the exersises on Youtube

  • keep pushing brother!!!!

  • Today I just did Week 3 Day 2, so that's the first time I was able to do 100 total pushups. I doubt I'm gonna get through the first time, but I definitely see a big improvement in the number of pushups I can do.

  • The way that you were resting is the same way that we were allowed to do during the Army PT test. You can either use that method, or allow your back to bow, but without letting your legs and hips touch the ground.

  • So at the end of the program did you reach 100 push ups in a row?

  • Eg greie 42, HA!

  • This program is ridiculous, I was doing over 200 pushups in a workout and I actually didn't improve at all from when i started(2 weeks). 4th and 5th weeks workouts are just undoable if you can't already do 70-80.

  • Thats untrue, I made 17 in the beginning and now after the fourth week i am able to do 63 consecutive IF i put all i can do.

You´ve just got keep faith in the program.

  • Well if you could only do 17 when you started of course you would improve. I was already at a pretty high level(able to do 65) and I was doing the hardest workouts each week. If you look at the easy workouts each week they aren't even that bad but the hard one's are simply too hard for the requirements it talks about.

I feel like I'm better off just doing 55 pushups or whatever each day until I can do them comfortably and then increasing it to 60 each day, then 65 etc.

  • I will try your way if the last two weeks don´t work :)

  • Your beard is cool.

  • Metalrifle, calm down. Leopard is right about finding out what your skill level is before you start so you do the right amount. If you can't be constructive, shut your trap.

  • I managed to complete day 1 of week three, but day 2 and 3 are to hard for me. And I don't know what's better , reapeating week 2 , or do many as I can in week three. How do you think?

  • I would recommend doing week 3 first. If you look at week 4, the final set on the final day in the third level is 40+ reps... But the minimum amount of reps for continuing on that level in the fifth week is only 40... When you're rested.

What I mean is that when you do the exercises, focus more on doing all the push-ups than doing them without stopping. If you feel week 3 is too much for you, finish the week and then do week 3 again rather than jump all the way back to 2. Hope that helps! ^_^

  • What I did last time when I couldn't pass the prescribed number of push-ups was repeating the the day that I couldn't pass until I did and then just went on to the next day. Surprisingly, I passed the next day with ease even tho it required about 10 more pushups than the previous one :)

  • good job man, I've made a bet with my friends 4 months ago to reach a 100 pushups by the end of the summer, i was at 85 around 2 weeks ago but i started doing jiu jitsu and stuff and i am always aching everywhere and can't really concentrate on that goal, maybe I'll just bust them all out when i record it hopefully. good luck

  • Good job on getting that far! Where were you when you started?

I actually started Tae Kwon Do during the summer, so I had the same problems for a while, but I'm back on it now. ^_^

  • I started at 35, what helped me I think was doing all the harder types of push ups, like diamonds, or with weight on my back, or those rotating platforms (they are much harder), putting my feet up so my body is parallel to the floor. I've also mastered my 16kg kettlelebell during this time, which I think that greatly helped.

  • Id you'd have read the sight then you would have done the exhaution test, counted your reps, and start on the correct week. If you can do 40.. then try week 3... more like 70.. week 5.. etc.

  • WEAK

  • I don't see your video anywhere.

  • update.... week 4 is too much for me right now. so right now, i`m taking a little break at week 3, what means that i`m doing the 3rd day of week 3 over and over again. i don`t know how long i will pause, but i need a "rest". i`m not totally quitting though. this IS getting too tuff.

  • same, week 4 is so improportionate to previous weeks.

  • Hey. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I dropped off after week five myself. I couldn't get near the projected target and got disheartened... Then I started Tae Kwon Do. I'm back in the program now, though, and back on week 3. (week 4 on monday)

  • great progress... you should think about going back to a shaved head or buzzcut to go with your more athletic looking bod... the floppy hair just doesnt work as well

  • Heheh, it'll work better when it's pony-tail length. ^_^

  • @Magnulus did you ever crack the 100? im starting this next monday!

  • Aww, you're doing great! Much better than I could do right now. Maybe I should do something like this...

Anyways, I wish you luck with it! :)

  • I think you're doing great. Don't lose confidence! ^^ Just keep working at it. The site itself says you will probably have to redo weeks and keep working your way up to 100. It's a process, and you are doing great!

A lot better than me, for sure, at least. xD

    But yeah.

    Good job!

  • 10 extra pushups in 4 weeks? must be a tough workout to only get that much gain, its all good.. go for 100! u got my support.. as u can see i'm also trying this test but with a little bit tougher challenge :P

  • Good luck on the weighted challenge!

Yeah, I went up to 45 by today, which I doubt is enough to keep me in the running for 100 by next week... I have a feeling I'll be doing another three weeks by the end of it.

  • yea i think this challenge is extreme, i believe the reason it is extreme is because if u actually completed the whole challenge you should be able to do a consistency of 100 pushups on your offs and on day.

  • Ouch... I cringed when I watched this.

I was so pissed off. I was finally starting to really do well with this program and my physical therapist told me I had to stop because of my accident and I was putting my right shoulder and all out of whack. GRRR!

You did REALLY good! You should be proud of yourself too! 40 push ups is a big accomplishment, especially when you started out doing... what? 23 I think? I cant remember.

  • Oh man, that's shitty news. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I did 21 to start, so even though I'm nowhere near hitting the target (I did 45 today when I should have been able to do 51) I'm still seeing some real progress, which is fun.

I have a feeling the whole 100-thing isn't really working for everyone. Starting to look very unfeasible that people generally manage it... Or maybe my body is just very progress-resistant.

  • Great job! Looks like sets of 10 are working for you. Keep it up. You're starting to motivate me into trying this program. lol

  • Wow you are such a weakling. I bet you need help lifting a spoon to your mouth every morning during breakfast. I can do thousands upon thousands of pushups without even trying. Give up already. You are too weak.

    BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. ;P

    Good work Muggy.

  • You always manage to get voted down on my videos. ^_^ I've voted you back up to neutral, though. Don't you worry.

Thanks, Daniel, good to see you around! ^_^

  • Hawt! ^_^

I think that there is muscle definition, good for you for sticking with it!

  • Hi noni! ;)

  • Yay! Thanks! I'm very happy about getting to double within five weeks, though I still have to MORE than double my current count in TWO weeks. ^_^

  • You've already improved so much!

I started just this week and even though I'm starting at week three, after seeing how hard it is myself, I'll be happy if pass 3 weeks of the program in 6!

  • Well, even if it does take six weeks, it's an achievement to see it through to its finish. Keep it up!

  • haha good job! hopefully you reach your goal!

  • Just pretend your wife is under there. ;o)

  • But then I'd never want to push myself up again, and my hips would be bending and gyrating all the time! Bad plan. ^_^

  • wow, magnulus, outstanding performance! you keep me sticking to this, for sure! but i decided to redo week 3, to gain some confidence again. so i am 2 weeks behind you once again ;)

  • I still owe you a video...

I feel like a bad person.

Also I think I don't do my pushups as proper as you do, but I was told doing them smaller is helthier and my arms make wired sounds when I move further.

So I guess it's better for me to den them my style

  • Fuck Youtube. I wrote a long reply to this and it's gone...

Essentially, you should TRY to go as far down as possible for maximum effect, but the most important thing is that you do it the way you manage to and that you keep your back and legs straight.

  • Ideed f* youtube.

    Thankyou for trying again.

    the information is uselfull

  • i dont think i can do it in 6 weeks, but i will do it before the summer break is over :)

  • See, if you can even do that, that's still pretty impressive. ^_^ Keep it up!

  • thanks, you too :)

  • mine isnt going that great either, i had to drop back a week and drop a level :( but i am still optamistic! Really hope i make it to 100 mind, would be fantastic ^_^

  • Ain't no shame in that. Keep up the good cheer and good work!
