Thanks sailorwarsupreme for uploading these... I was only vaguely aware the musicals existed way back when I became a SM fan, and they were probably impossible to get on the VHS tape trading scene. It's so amazing that people can see all of this stuff instantly online now.

it's amazing having access to all this stuff but realizing how much technology has changed makes me feel old lol... it was just about half of my lifetime ago when I first became a fan... wow.

oh wow this is crazy! I just got a renewed interest in anime after not watching for nearly 10 years (wow it's been so long...), and Sailor Moon in particular since it was my first. I'm a complete addict again.

so I was just looking through my old tapes and CDs, and found a CD single of La Soldier from 1995. and who is on the cover... it's ANZA! and the cast of this show!

recently I've loved getting to see these musicals, I can't believe I've had a piece of merchandise from them for 14 years!

I adore Moon and Mercury's shiny boots. Musical fights make me happy. Love the special effects for the attacks(but it's Shine Aqua Illusion, even in the manga...sheesh, and Venus Love Me Chain, though I've been noticing some small translation errors through the entire thing). *cries* Poor senshi, though this is just like the 1st season finale.

Funny how everyone is so busy fighting that they don't happen to notice Sailor Moon creeping over and freeing Tuxedo Kamen.

And all that "dancing-fighting"...I suppose it makes sense in a stage musical, but seriously. I guess that style of fighting DIDN'T begin with PGSM...:)

Oh and did anyone notice, with the battle music...there is a little of "La Soldier" in there, which is funny cause "La Soldier" hasn't been introduced yet at this point (this being the first musical); it first appears later, after the curtain call.

Was it like this:

The Sailor Senshi gave out killing blows, striking the Shitennou, but the Shitennou then made suicide charges towards the Sailor Senshi, and as a result, both the Sailor Senshi and the Shitennou are killed.
