Furthermore-- as far as the characters who played anti- Jinnah, I strongly urge you guys to read history and judge for yourself. The anti-Jinnahism depicted through Mountbetten, Gandhi, and Nehru serves miniscule when compared with the real life jealousy and agitation they possessed for JInnah. This is the beauty of the movie that it is historically correct at CL has mentioned in his interview! He learly says that this is his best performance and the story is TRUE!

Christopher Lee gave a performance that was as solid as Jinnah's own character. HOWEVER . . . the makers of the movie were horrible. If it wasn't for Christopher Lee, this movie would have been total garbage. Poor editing, poor continuation, poor script. The story was told in an incoherent fashion, moving back and forth at random. Also, a deliberate attempt was made to distort the characters of those who disagreed with Jinnah into caricatures. What a wasted effort.

@FootballFunFan You give me one example of poor editing, continuation, and script-- from this film. You have to either Indian, or one-eyed to rate the film as you have done so. I challenege you that the absence of Christopher Lee would have created no impact. It would still have rocked as it does so now!. I do not deny the fact that CL is one of the gems, and he surpases many, but still the mood of the film is the most important thing a viewer analyzes. This movie is a perfcat answer to 'Gandhi'
