    tinyurl[dot]com/653j5ae

  • Omg that car game at the end I spent years on it when I was like 3 because. Thought if i completed it I'd b able to drive normal size cars

  • Waiting for the vid to load? Go to full screen pause at 0:00 and press up and left arrow keys. Enjoy ur game of snake =P

  • well the testers clearly don't do their job properly cause south park on the 64 was buggy as hell.

  • @DemoArtsProductions As a tester myself I can tell you, 99.99999% of all bugs that you see in video games were found and reported by the testers. It's the developers that say "We do not have the time to fix this" or "This isn't that big of an issue we'll let it slide". Do not blame the testers, I guarantee you it is not their fault.

  • The fuck! nintendo 64. this shit s older dan George Washington!!!!

  • haha quake 3

  • let me guess 94 lol idk

  • @BumheadProductions Nope, somewhere between 1998 or 2000, because the N64 and South park wasn't invented in 94.

  • @xDevilWearsxPradax You don't need a college degree if you're a playability game tester. If you're a programming tester, that's a different story.

  • from a supervisoring standpoint, i'm going to be ON YOU

  • O wow, I played vid games for about 10 hrs at one point, especially call of duty games. This job might be for me :)

  • @xDevilWearsxPradax you dont need a college degree qa testers is an entry level position until u get promoted to sqat or lead then thats when you'll start needing a college degree

  • dam i remember that south park game, it was so bad it was good lol

  • holy shit i cant wait to be 18 and go to ubisoft :3 GAME TESTERS UNITED

  • This is very old.

I used to work at Acclaim ent based in Glen Cove NY.

All these people were my co-workers.

Judging by the games they are showing... Armorines, South Park N64... WWF Wrestling.... i'd say this is over 10 years old

Back in 1998 to 2001 i was there.

Acclaim Ent later went under, out of business in 2001...

And the pay ..... was decent. I started at $13 an hour back in 1998

  • @1995PreludeLiNY So these jobs really do exist? Ok so HOW do you get the Job Doing this? Where do you apply?

  • @danlublock go to the website they state at the beggining and end of the video and click the back button once and you will be able to get it with a 10$ off cupon though i dont know how long the application but you have to pay to apply its like 34.95 for like 6 months or 39.95 for a year or 44.45/44.95 for 2 years. iv been to the website a cuple times.

  • @1995PreludeLiNY Not bad, $13 an hour. So you guys use to work before or after the game was released? because even with testers people still find bugs and glitches.

  • how old do you have to be to become a video game tester?

  • 8 dollars an hour! thats pretty much minimum wage! i cant live off minimum wage! gimme more monayyyy lol

  • i can do a lot better than this guys their 2 old im only 16 but i have 13 years of experience on video games lol

  • @ozubier You should probably have put a couple of those years into learning how to speak proper English or reading some books. Your writing is borderline incomprehensible.

  • Old Skooooooooooool Games! Think I saw a dream cast controller in there. They were awesome!

  • haha

  • yeah

  • wow dude im gonna live in an apartment,,,work for 8 years in the video game testing, save up for a house....$24,000 dollars a years ok but not the best

  • Haha, that guy Brian Carrey is the best game tester, no doubt about it !!!!

  • Wow - Look @ Sharpy!...lol.

    Good Acclaim in the Annex!

Counter Strike 1.6 on Breaks...lol. We were all a mess. Night shift FTW.

  • i became a game tester via this site, check my channel

  • I want to get in the gaming industry and since I have no degrees and still in High School, I'd love to be able to do this at home for like 4 hours.

  • old ass hell

    \

  • SouthPark on the 64? Man this clip is old. And what the hell is a slightly hot chick doing there?

  • @TylerDurdennnnnnnnnn she was paid to be there.

  • Lol? Those websites only rip off your money. Study, get Some degrees in Graphic Design, Programing ( Youl have better chances getting noticed by gaming industries :) ) Get contacts in the industry, send your resume to serveral different companies, Call them, make sure you let them know who you are. Get noticed. Do some freelancing, get an interview with the big guns, show them the jobs you did, how experience you are :) how much you love gaming :). BANG! Youre In :) Nuff Said!

  • hey,i will study graphic design in Belgrade,Serbia...

what do u think my chances really are to land, hmm let's say, at EA or Microsoft creating games etc. ?

and what would a g. designer actually do there, what's his job? xD

  • Lol do you live in Belgrade? My home town.

  • ne bre! xD

  • o vazi onda. Ja zivim u ostraliju sada.

  • super :D

  • hey i got a dream cast... anybody remember those?

  • gamerecruitmentdotus

  • south park!

  • Do you want to earn over 150$ a day playing games? then enter here and become a video game tester!

  • DREAMCAST.... holy shit lol its been a looong time since i seen that!

  • lol yeah the real deal all the new games are on the dreamcast soul calibur 6 is getting tested on the dreamcast.

  • i still got my dreamcast :D

  • I dream of doing this! getting paid to laugh your ass off in gaming!

  • i play like 75-85 hours a week >.> that would be a lot of money =D seriously stop putting scams out i want to find a real video game testing job...

  • When was this filmed? The games are fuckin' outdated.

  • So they don't risk to leak game...

All sites what says "play to get paid" are 100% scam and some wiser scammer would create more accounts and then post with em in their own scam videos that it works and blablabla.

I highly advise to not even think joining these "Play for free to get money", In truth those scam sites DON'T have any these beta versions of game and I hope there could be rule to remove these scam videos from youtube...

  • ok... if its such a scam >.> which i believe it is, where are the REAL video game tester jobs >.>

  • @sergiy182 From the REAL video game companys. Duh.

  • This is obviously a scam, I went to that site, read all that stuff. A REAL game tester job description and that stuff would be written perfect and no these words like there mentioned "lame ass". Also when I wanted to quit that page, then there was message about discount, second when I wanted to exit there was last discont! Its a scam and all other sites, cause the game makers WOULDN'T give their games to some tester companies, they would recruit testers themselfs or call those who they trust.

  • a month

  • in romania a game tester at EA is payed with 154 Euro

  • if your gettings free games, and everything else free, then what would you spend your money on? like seriously guys, unless your an adult. you wouldnt have anything to spend your money on.

that is, unless your a pc game tester, then you can spend your time upgrading your pc AND playin games :)

  • Comment removed

  • i know a friend who is game tester it isn't as good as it sounds the pay is quite low and you practically have to play a level over and over doing everything possible until it's perfect. She said it gets very stressful as well near the deadlines and you often get unpaid overtime - but it's a good way to get into the game industry and work your way up.

  • You definitely lose a lot of sleep working as a tester. I usually work through my brakes in order to keep up. But its challenging, and I think that is what I enjoy about it.

  • So what's the best part of it? Your salary, or getting free copies of the games?

  • After you get a copy of the game, you will probably never play it again. You spend 8 or more hours a day for about 6 months playing the game. Very few testers ever play the game again. It basically becomes as useless as a frisbee. Or they sell it. I hold on to mine just because its nice to have something tangible to hold onto after all of the work that was put in. Salary isn't that great either. It usually ranges between 10-12 dollars on hour. More if you are a senior, and double if you lead.

  • where can u find these jobs send personal message

  • 6 - 7 hours, i spend like 9 - 10 hours a day. i think i should get a job as game tester.

  • im right with you brotha

  • What was that last game that was show. With the small cars, i used to play that but forgot what it was called :/.

  • was it twisted metal?

  • kool

  • where is best to look for a job as a tester i live in the uk south of

  • hahahha Nintendo 64, lawl this must be recent.

  • LOL look at how old the equipment is!!! and the video camera theyre using!!! it must be an old video i mean noone plays that crap anymore need4 upgrade!!

  • pp: your pony died because it wasn't pretty enough.

  • im a games tester i just finished testing guitar hero metallica, its not as good as it sounds, playing every song on every difficulty and every instrument over and over 8 hours a day

  • do you have to be 18+ to do this?

  • alot of the time yes

  • i hate this cuz u have to pay them -.-

  • no you don't. you can apply directly to the company. google their address and if it's close to you, email them your resume and tell them you're interested.

  • hey that is true if you play it so fucking long you get sick of it when the free copy comes in but think of this way what if you are bored and you remember that game that you tested and it was awesome you would probably want to play it again just restart it and play

  • come on, if this was true you'd see videos of people playing at home not in the company headquarters. don't get me wrong videogame testing is true. if you are interested apply in their websites all companies post jobs for this position. for example sony, EA, 2K games, rockstar, ubisoft, capcom. i hope this helps

  • It's not as clear cut as it sounds. You have to test the same game for months on end for 7+ hours a day. You get sick of the damn thing by the time you get a free copy.

  • Poor Acclaim :(

  • Yup they screwed us all in the end.

Locked the doors on Pay day and filed bankruptcy.....put a lot of people in a bad spot with that BS move. August 27th, 2004 was the Day it all ended.

  • I wanted to do some game testing just to get a foot into the business to become a programmer in the future but to get a legit job, say in valve or sega, you have to live within the proximity of the actual company. All the ads that say work at home are FAKES!!

  • not true. you can work at home... but you won't have any opportunity to move up unless you go to school for 2+ years in design. it's all coding and if you can't read/type/understand fluent coding, then you're worthless to the design department.

  • lol South Park on N64

    Game testing is VERY boring.

  • fake ass fuckin shit. want me to pay? wtf

  • dis is a old video couse they playing on n64 dreamcast ps1

  • This video is probably more realistic than others out there which are most likely scams. About 20 years ago,it was a good time to get into the gamimg industry, it's those people who are ahead now,in terms of making good money. But now, because of videos like this, too many people are getting into this field, therefore companies realize that they don't need to pay much, because they can now choose from so many. Even non-gamers will do this, because people can now see the value in video games.

  • I wanna be that or a level designer

  • Video game testing seems kinda boring compared to the other jobs in the game industry...

  • not really you get good amount of money find bugs and get free games sounds okay to me better than doing math at an office setting in a cubical finding numbers and stupid shit.

  • mannnnnnnnnn i see a dreamcast

    and shadowman

  • dude i would love to be a game tester when i get older.thats my dream.but i hope i can jus find one here in florida

  • i actuly wouldnt like this job :P cuz it wouldnt be fun. i enjoy playing games half asleep all day. i wouldnt like to be constantly aware for bugs

  • wow how old is this

  • yes this is also a so old and i am like this and thanks for sharing the views with me

  • lol i will be able to create them soon enough and get payed 60+ dollars/hr to do so.

  • Yea I think most testers that tested the game must have not done a well job, like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shadows of chernobyl for instance, I found some of the strangest bugs I have ever seen, such as human npcs having the looks of enemy mutants, or randomly seeing someone fly in the air in a safe area. Or even getting stuck in the ground out of no where, lucky for me most of the glitches and bugs are fixed.

  • its more like whoever was in charge of the game didn;t have good debuggers.

  • those r eather the ones that they cant bug or have spent hours trying to find but didnt find them. or they just left them in their for fun

  • no some testers do find it just blame the fucking company that doesnt fix it or they just dont have the time

  • Lol MMORPGS can get paid hell of alot more Look at WoW+Guild Wars imgaine getting paid for them ALOT OF FUCKING MONEY!

  • Yea I even saw that some guild members could make up to a quarter of a million dollars per match. Sadly I dont play WoW any more.

  • I was a video game tester and quit after a week. On my very first shift, they made me play 14 fucken hours of an abysmal game named 'Driven'. I had to write a 4 page report on the class A, B, and C bugs I detected. The pay stinks. Usually about 9-12 bucks an hour. They force you to play the same game repeatedly for sometimes months on end! And by 'game' I really mean same friggin level. Only hardcore crackpots need apply for this bile. Plus, its on contract, and you can go weeks without work.

  • only 8 u can get 120 an hour on different sites

  • lol i don't neeed job.. i sit on my computer for 14 hours better then these guys

  • and do what and get paid how much???

  • why you do havw to paid for it

  • That is funny! Running around in circles!! LMFAO!!!!
