Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have 4 inch exhaust with a straight pipe and not cat on my 01' Powerstroke and it seems like it's not as loud as the trucks I've heard with Banks, or some other high end exhaust. Is it just me? Also, will I get any better performance from a name brand exhaust as opposed to just a straight pipe? I know diesels need to breathe. Thanks!
still doesnt give you optimal performance. do some research and make one yourself or get one made to spec. usually cheaper, you can have what you want, and itll sound GREAT and do better
yah my dad has the banks on his duramax and it is quiet but when your towing it gets alot louder and it is such a rich sound these videos don't do justice to the sound of these trucks
Sorry I can't help you out -- I don't deal with pricing. But you can call our 800 number and a sales guy can tell you. Don't worry, they're not pushy or anything. Thanks!
Go with Mbrp exhaust sounds great

alot of how loud it is comes from how big your pipe is and where it comes from like turbo or cat back

well they might sound better but in the case of breathing i would get a chip with a straight pipe that would be a good combo but im no expert either
