  • Just work in the entonationd and How to hold the bow . . . ..

But you're talented keep working on that c:

  • in response to all the comments about the violin, have you not heard the story of when heifetz borrowed a violin for a performance and everyone thought it was his strad? The player makes the music, not the violin. Thus, a good player should get at least decent sound out of a poor violin. And this girl is not even doing that, but she is 9. Major repertoire should not be taught to kids of this age.

  • @AchievingMyDreams You know a lot of violinists ... Thanks for your comment.

  • It wasn't 35th etiude ;/ It was 37th...

  • you should've gotten a violin your size, a 3/4

    your pitch would be better

    all in all, good!

  • very good for a litil girl good job i love it so much

  • We all know that's an incredibly hard piece. Kreutzer is like, usiversity level. You're extremely talented. The thing is that your isntrument is def. not a good one, and the piece is really hard to play.

Anyway, congratulations. You're on the right path. =)

  • pa BLAH pa da-da-da pa BLAH pa da-da-da pa BLAH pa da-da-da

get it? that's what you sound like. =)

  • be nice to the kid.

  • I really agree with KonnytheViolin.

Not only for this song but all the songs she plays on You Tube.

  • This is Kreutzer 36 not 35

  • @iceessence09 it's actually 37 unless my book is incorrect

  • There is a real difference between playing a piece and playing it well.

You just play the notes and that`s already quite sloppy.

But real playing means to play with feelings and that makes music to music and your are really playing without feelings.

Please play pieces which are easier and then practice them to play them very good, but please not like that is is awfull!!

  • good technique

    bad tone.

    keep working at it.

  • Don't forget that this was recorded with the built-in camera microphone, standing right beside a wooden wall. To get decent tone one needs a good condenser mic placed correctly in a treated room.

It took me months to figure out the proper mic placement to record my violin.

    This kid is doing great!

  • there is a difference between bad mic quality and tone quality.

I use a built in mic, and so does most of my friends... she would sound better with a better mic, but her tone isnt very good either.

Partly the violin, and partly her,

It takes experience to get a good quality tone.

she's well on her way, just something she needs to work on,,

  • I think that was a little hard for you but keep working on because you did better than i would. Good Job!

  • That guy must think we all speak French! Good job little violinist.

    mejora mucho...

  • good for a nine year old. but she's not ready for it. she should have worked through mazas or something else before going on to kreutzer. also wtf is that bow hold lol. talented, but she isnt ready.

  • definitely needs some work on fundamentals. Luckily she's 9 and has plenty of time to figure that stuff out. But I doubt this will help help her playing.

  • take a smaller violin or you are going to have problems later.nice job.keep trying!relax and listen to your self.you should try also something easier while you are playing those etudes..

  • It is a little fast for her to play that etude.

Etude is a practice, so playing carefully is better than playing fast.

Anyway, the most important thing for her future turns on her right little finger.

When she has a bow, her little finger mustn't be squared.

Right hand always be soft, and right arm moves smoothly.

  • You have boundless potential. Just continue to be a good student. Mother nature will take care of the rest.

  • i think u better start wif kayser first b4 going for kreutzer studies

  • are your strings red label???

you should get dominant ones. they don't have the metal sound; their's is more warm.

  • The piece is too hard for you. Go back to basics!

  • your getting all the etude numbers wrong!!!

  • ahah me hace acordar a mi violin

toca hermozo q siga asi, va a llegar bien lejos.

    bravo!

  • This is pretty good! You attack the music with strength and confidence, which more than compensates for most of the intonation issues. Try gripping the bow a little closer to the frog if you can (the bow might be too long for your arm right now to do that)--this will keep your right hand from being stretched out so awkwardly and will help improve your overall control of the bow (and hopefully reduce some of the "screeching" problems).

    Remarkably mature for a 9 year-old--great work!

  • if ya wanna play this piece betta i suggest another violin with more tone when u play it so it sounds nicer! keep at the good work!

  • Thank you to comment!

  • your faster notes need to be cleaner and your bowing needs a little work.

your screeching a bit and you can hear the tension in your bowing throughout your playing.

i suggest doing some bowing and scale excersises out of a kayser book before pracicing to help you with that

and perhaps you should practice the piece a few times slowly before playing it at full speed.

    just some constructive criticism.

besides those few errors, your AMAZING for a 9year old. keep up with the excellent work!

  • Thank you!

  • omg! do you have a teacher? Get help! You could be good if you had instruction.

  • Someone who lives nearby -- help this talented girl!!!!

  • leave it be mate, among 1000 kids learning the violin, one might get good guidance, so what are u goin to do, seek out the other 999 and talk to every single one of them? I'm saying this not because I want to change the way she thinks(I've seen enough to actually care), but because I want to change the way u think. Stop caring, it makes a person sad, it's a lesson I learned long ago. So feel lucky, and be happy. that's all we need to do(or maybe just u, I still got a tough long way to go...)

  • needs some work yet in the right hand. It's tough, especially the faster you go. Good job though and keep up the practice and hard work as they are the keys to success! Impressive that it's memorized though.

  • only nine years huh? You'll get there sweetheart. But try to loosen up your bow-grip. You're both hands seem to be too tight.

    Keep up the good work!

  • that pice is weight too big for you

  • It's number 37, very hard to play and also memorize. Well done, nice strong playing!
