  • cool bike surly lht are great bikes

  • if you want light cant you just go outside?

  • At the start of the video you highlighted the pump lug. Purchase a compressed pump. The base of the pump fits into the lug then with the handle compresses into place on the inside of the down tube. Nice bike.

  • Is that a threaded quill stem? I thought Surly used threadless stems on all their bikes, or is this an old model?

  • By the way, fatties fit fine is representative of surly's ability to fit larger diameter wheels. (aka fatter wheels).

It's really just Surly's quirky little way of self promoting itself.

    I love Surly bikes =]

  • FYI.

The rear lug you made mention of is actually for a different type of break set up. The break cable is feed through that lug.

    Enjoy your bike!

  • thanks, dude. I'd kind of twigged (eventually!) that there was only one peg, but the pump I have is tiny, but it cost a fair wad of cash, so I'll hang onto it for the mo. Ace piece of kit the Surly, isn't it??

  • You only need that one peg for the pump. The zefal frame fitting pump will work fine. You have to determine the correct. Blackburn makes a pump that will fit the frame also. I like the zefal, though I've heard good things about the blackburn also.

  • Nice LHT !!

    Love my blue one :)

"fatties fit fine" = basically means wide tires will fit, hehe

  • Ahhhhh ... thanks for that! Yes, awesome bike. And if I can just get off my ass, I'll be on her again in a few days...
