I was just a little bit sad, because in this piece, I could hardly hear the timpini, potentially the strongest part in the band. Other then that, super cool. Our middle school concert band (6th, 7th, and 8th grades) are doing this, and we sound very good. Wish us luck on our concert coming up!

I can say as a band director that you guys are good especially balancing the volume,but at the end where there's the poco ritardando u guys have to slow down a lot more especially at the end the legato quarter nots should be like dotted half notes

We play much much faster than this. But i still like it. I find it kind of really easy and I wish We played it in 8th grade rather than 9th(this year).

My band played this back in '90, in which was the first time the band went to a festival (The San Diego Festival), and won. They won each festival ever since (except last year, which they got 2nd). This year, I get to go, and for fun, today, we sightred this whole song. And we epically failed. XD

we just played this in Disney World in my high schools 9th symphony. I love how you can hear the trombone solo in this. It's funny there are two people that usually conduct this song, one called Frank the other Eric and it's written by Frank Erickson
