A person can sympathize with Tamil aspiration and disapprove of LTTE atrocities as well as disapprove of Lankan govt methods of handling Tamil dissent. There are many Sinhalese who are sympathizers and that does not mean they are traitors, it only indicates the legitimacy of the Tamil dissent.
