rookie mistake by you mate, french actually had better tanks then the germans did at the start of the war and one of the best equipt armies, france and germany were at war late 1939 to mid 1940 when the germans attacked the british commonwealth and french forces it took the germans 6 weeks to knock the french out of the war not 2 years, because you've watch heaps of WW 2 moives does'nt mean anything

@random00xx Yes but my context is during the 1945 age which is depicted in this game. The French IN THE GAME have less superior armor. I'm not here on a historical rant, I'm comparing the armor within the game context. Sure they had numerical and technical superiority at the start of the war but the Germans were far tactically engaged.

@random00xx true they did have better tanks at the very start of the war but germany quickly caught up and technologically in general germany was ahead and did exceptionally well by utilising a blitz attack through the northern corridor

@traffordhobbs Are you talking about the speed of units? If so, you have to realise this map is huge, and the size of the units is not to scale. Only when you fully zoom into the ground is the true size of the units, and they are small. The game exaggerates the units for you to see better.

Well, you're quote wrong about French tanks. French was the seconf largest producer of tanks bevore WWII (USSR was the first). And quality of tanks was serenely better then Germans and British. French defeat was not because of their technology, but rather because of their strategic, tactical, and military doctrinal mistakes. In other words, not French tanks, but rather French generals sucked.

@putavyraitis The French tanks was ill-equipped and badly organised. Im not saying they all totally suck, but because of the focus of military expenditure on the Maginot Line, most tanks couldn't be upgraded or re-armed.

@xXGamerEmpireXx compared to what? Somua 35 vs Panzer 1 or Panzer 2? Look, during battle of France, Germany had no of its famous tanks. Panzer 3s quite small in numbers, but by their stats, they were just as good as somua 35.
