An argument that some people raise is that you cant hold it that long because you have to be mindful of rebounds, but my response is you dont shoot to miss so dont think about rebounds at that point , think about scoring. And how often do you see people rebounding their own shot after a free throw?
He is a great coach. Try going to one of his camps. He teaches everything you need to know.

Actually he does keep follow through been to one of his basketball camps he is a really good teacher.
