@MrCopticforever Hmmm i haven't taken my ds apart yet so i cant really tell by looking at the video, my assumption is maybe when u removed the soldering joints under the ds and, it was replaced improperly, there the inverted that turns the screen off when the ds is closed is now shorted and turns of your ds.

Hi there, this is a great and helpful video, we did it exactly asa he told us, and we got a new housing for our NDS!

Only the opening of the cable connectors was not as simple as seen, you have to lift up the tiny black part of the cable connector with your nails or a small screwdriver, then take the cable out of it to the front side carefully.

Thanks, we just had to take an NDS apart to replace one of the switches which had broken. It's nice to have a quick demo on where all the screws are, what needs to be pried up and how, etc.

It'd be nice to show exactly how the display cables unlock, doing it wrong can break the display and it's not clear in this video which of several different kinds of unlock needs to be used.
