  • I feel a great admiration for your child :D

Perhaps she won't want to be a bodybuilder any time... but training so

:) will turn her a good athlete any way

  • What a beautiful child. I read that there will not be any red heads in 200 years. She is a doll baby.

  • Thank you. No redheads in 200 years? What do you mean?

  • There will not be any redheads around because their are so few. It is called evolution.

  • Turning the natural rambunctiousness of a child into the grinding effort of machine training is terrible.

It's like you're teaching your kid to think of exercise as work rather than fun at an age when kids instinctively know how fun exercise can be. Sad.

  • It appears you are unaware of the benefits that strength training bestows on children. My daughter very much enjoys her sessions and looks forward to her training. Not all things in life are supposed to be fun and frolic. Hard work and concentration along with fun and frolic builds strong character, strong bodies and strong minds.

Someday when you are a parent you'll understand. Be well.

  • He is just jealous(zzpft32), you have a beautiful daughter and she listens to you, she is into weights , this is awesome. I wish my dad trained me like that when I was little..he seemed to not care much about me...:(

  • Agreed, I am not a parent but I hardly think that she would do it if she really didn't want to, anyway, doing a great thing to prepare her for her future should she want to play sports or just be generally fit.

  • Fantastic! She might get sore from this though

  • Funny thing is kids don't seem to get very sore. I think it is because they are so active in life that soreness just doesn't take hold. In fact, my daughters do hand stands and cartwheels while watching TV! They feel strong, vital and have a confidence with their bodies that is quite amazing to see.

  • This is true, I remember when I was a young teenager it was extremely difficult for me to get sore, no matter how hard I tried..lol,That is so awesome that you are training your daughter, I wanna do the same thing when I get older and have kids, I wanna train my kids..:)

  • Thats better technique than most adults! Although most adults don't know about the benefits of properly performed exercise and don't have Mr Hahn as a dad!

  • Indeed and thank you. But soon my new book will hit the stands and every tyke and teen will be able to benefit from strength training in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Future Ms. Olympia in the making.

  • Sans the steroids perhaps. But she is a tall one and her genetics are average. So probably not. But man is she strong.
