Rep. Rangel noted that he was “very surprised” at the West's words,” but “he doesn’t come from the political party that can talk about plantations and that type of thing.” What? Meaning only Democrats own blacks? It's time the Republican party stopped saying "all people" and let blacks know that "all" includes BLACKS. What's good for the country, is good for blacks, gays..Mexicans...and all other minorities for that matter.

America is not the richest country in the world. It ranks 8th in per capita income. Hate the wealthy? Give to the less fortunate? "Even the playing field" ? Others are:

To even the playing field, we must "de-develop the rich countries" , redistribute the wealth globally (take your income). How does socialism look to you now? I don't think black Americans are going to get anything from Obama.
