  • tell them to make a separate keyboard

  • why does it say that my itune doesn't reconize 64 bit program?

  • @indianforlife123 Says the same for me! have you found a way to "fix" this error yet?

  • @JOHNO722 ya lol.. you can't have this "program" on the new LionX lol which sucks a lot

  • @indianforlife123 Damn, Thats why it doesn't work for me then!

  • @indianforlife123

I just managed for the macbook air on LionX

It works, I will post a video today on how to do it

  • @applemacinc when are you going to post the video of how to do it ? i can't wait man !!

  • the vid could be better if the song was a bit heavier and faster.but still nice :D even though i use a PC :P

  • Why does everyone choose this song for these kinda things...

  • heh, I can do this with my Laptop as well, but mines not a mac.

  • @Andersmithy COOL STORY BRO

  • The song is called The Way I Are from Timbaland ft Keri Hilson

  • Can a white Macbook have backlit keyboards? cuz i have one and im very interested in having those kind of function. Thanks ;)

  • I have the Macbook Pro 13" 2,3 Ghz 2011 Version and iSpazz works fine :)

  • does this effect the lighting? Like does it burn the bulbs faster?

  • what de song

  • @jeremeypersaud Tonight (I'm Loving You)- Enrique Iglesias.

  • @jeremeypersaud Timbaland- The Way I Are.

  • Well doesn't the MacBook pro keyboard lights up blue?

  • @MsBmx25 look at the upload date.

  • @Johnathon124 OOO, I'm shaking in my spaceboots. Shut the fuckk up, I already found it : I added the comment before reading the description fuckfaace.

  • How the eff do you do that?

  • @musicmylife101 well i have no idea, because the title definitely doesn't say iSpazz and there definitely isn't a link to download the plugin, and there really isn't a how to video that shows you what to do as well.

    /sarcasm

    READ the damn description.

  • Its very very cool!

  • name of song pls

  • @gregestra ulduar - world of warcraft

  • @gregestra sexy back where do u live romania? lol jkjk

  • @lilmix18 actually the song is the way i are. Sexy Back sounds similar though

  • it doesnt work for me. shit app

  • THAT'S AWESOME!

  • doesnt work for me

  • its an awsum feature. but theres a high risk of it screwing up ur backlight.. which then screws up ur warranty....

  • @keithosupremo If they didn't say they are not responsible and use at your own risk, you could blame your broken computer on them and they would have to buy you one even if it wasn't their product that caused it. I'm not sure if this will really screw your up backlight. I doubt it.

This doesn't work for me. I have iTunes 10 and the Core i5 15 inch MacBook Pro (mid 2010).

  • I'm pretty sure this will fuck up your macbook!

  • Oh my gosh this is AMAZING!!!!

  • will this mess up your macbook pro?

  • @allroxchris Yup!!

  • whats that song...and it works best if you put the equalizer on bass boster

  • @knuckels1234 yea they do

  • cool, but gay song

  • the new macbooks dont seem to have as much light in those keyboards:(

  • song?

  • whats the song ? :D

  • So cool will it work for hackintosh ?

  • Yay for sizure inducing keyboards.

  • @luigifan1111 It's okay because only your fingers get a seizure.

  • @McKIllaG5

Alright, I guess that makes sence.

  • literally, my computer had a seizure.

  • so cool

  • omg iThank you! I had no idea this existed!Excellent!

  • last part on the website

"Oh, and before I forget: No warranty whatsoever. If the display flicker mode eventually kills your computers backlight, its not my problem - sorry"

  • Can you make it so individual lines of keys light up? Like bars? Like... you know

  • @pendejadafcc That's a cool idea but... I am pretty sure the MacBook keyboard has a circuit that is hooked up to a switch that controls on/off and brightness. To do this would have to modify the computer and create software to do this.

  • wow that would be awsome to do in the dark i cant wait to get mine also i really need help should i get macbook, macbook pro, makbook air

  • @lengi123 very true they do last a long time. but just like sliding your phone open and closed too many times, everything wears out. im not an expert with LED's, but im guessing after too many times of turning on and off so often, they'll lose a bit of their initial integrity/brightness.

  • watch?v=N0fE1ul68k4

  • LEDs do not typically burn out. they work differently than traditional lights. thats why they are being used in tail lights of new cars and in electronic devices that require a flashing light.

really the only way to ruin an LED bulb is to force too much power into it. ex: touching the wires of a single bulb to the terminals of a 9 volt battery

  • that will ruin your macbook pro?

  • @sagraphicscom over time. >.> I wouldn't do that to my macbook

  • @sagraphicscom they dont burn out, they are LED's, they have a life expectancy of 10 years. duh

  • Thanks for the instructions in the sidebar. Works great :)

  • Very cool... whats the name of that song

  • does this work with snow leopard?

  • yes. here is the link to mine running SL doing it.

    /watch?v=AiYVDzL9EKA

  • Reading these comments makes me laugh, it seems that some people here that are giving advice clearly know nothing about what they are talking about. Light Emitting Diodes have about 50,000 to 100,000 hours life span depending on the colour, you got a led bedside clock? that is on all the time day and night! Same technology.

So no it wont burn out your leds, only way to damage them is to push too much voltage through them, but they are controlled by the computer! Nice effect though i might add.

  • YOU HAVE TO DO IT 3 TIMES

  • good yob

  • I did this with my PowerBook!

  • That MacBook is pimpin'

  • Mine is to sensitive=( when i play a song and its hard it just stays lid =( only when its very soft it flashes

  • hey i was wondering if this potentially ruins the backlit keyboard? please answer this

  • yes, it burns the LED's

  • The way I are by timbaland and Keri hilson

  • no its sexy back

  • what song is that

  • i think its nelly furtado with some other guy..i know the name of the song..i just cant think of it!..lol

  • lol, Thank You anyway, atleast i know what to look for.

  • song you chose made it cool...Awesome vid !

  • haha that must RINSE out your battery...: )

  • LED's use very little power. A 30 LED lighttbulb for a lamp, which i have, costs less than a quarter to run nonstop for a year.

  • thats sick

  • Not good for the LEDs.

  • leds are made to be able to do that. That is why they make so many led strobe lights and stage lights.

  • Can it damage the LED backlight ?

  • Yes... certainly

  • q cancion es ?

    song?

  • i was wondering if would screw up my backlight although it looks awesome

  • what an utterly useless waste of time and energy.

    ...i want one!

  • I quote you for the waste of energy! XD

  • Epic comment

  • @broadspeedbullit i get one:P

  • @broadspeedbullit but it is cool if you are DJ in a Disco!!

  • its a very good program i have it on my macbookpro too

  • it's the way i are by timbaland?

    even i knew that o-O

  • cutee

  • Will this work with the new Aluminum MacBooks?

  • YES

  • yes he filmed it on one.....

  • what this song?

  • the way i are - Timberland

  • Good song i like it its like i am or soting like dat

  • Coool

  • i just did this on my new mbp and all it did was flicker the screen on and off

  • this works on the Alienware Laptops its also pretty bad ass

  • can i use iSpazz on a Dell Studio 15 with vista i have itunes and it came with a backlit keyboard

  • go for it. Doubt it though. Let me know if it works.

  • no cuz it uses osx features with the briteness

  • 1). yes, yes it was.

    2). WTF?

  • Thanks so much bro.

  • song name pls ?

  • They Way I Are by Timberland. This is the instrumental, i don't like the normal version.

  • Tht would distract me :P

  • Had to uninstall because even when this wasn't selected as the visualiser it would turn of my back light when i started a new track!

  • I just downloaded it onto my MacBook Pro (unibody) and it doesn't work that well with the new spaced keys. Also it doesn't keep up with faster songs.

  • well it works on my MacBook Air. The plug-in shows the entire song so the "fast songs" may have many sounds going on where the plug ing focus on everything.

If its not working just delete the current one and install another one.

  • anybody have any ideas on getting this visualizer to work while an actual visualizer is going on the screen??

  • cool

  • If I were to install this would it kill my Macbook Pro sooner or somethin?

  • that's awesome!

i've also seen people do it with cell phones.

    lol.

    i lovee it.

    :]

  • how show me HOW

  • i think this will damage ur comp

  • is that true?? geez

  • yeah it has a chance of damaging ur backlight

  • Not Really Cause They're Not "Bulbs" They're LEDs.

  • wow thats very cool! if inly i could mod my HP dv9000 with leopard with a backlit keyboard :(

  • nonononono, Hp wtf.

  • what if the MacPro came with a keyboard that lights up? can u use iSpaz on that?

  • LOL its so funny

  • can we do it on a macbook?

  • no, it does not have backlit keys, only Pro and Air.

  • now you can on the high end one.

  • i downloaded ispazz, copied its "contents" folder into \library\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins. But nothing the fuck happens! The 'i' key does shitall (it says on the website that the 'i' key can be used to toggle display on\off). Can u tell me what i'm doing wrong (or not doing)? thanks

  • go to iTunes, then View on the menu bar, turn on the visualizer , then right under it, go to visualizer, hit the backlight option, then play a song and hit The Command Key + T, it will turn it on the keys will DANCE. Hit "I" while there dancing for the SCREEN to DANCE. Hit I again to turn it off, and hit Command T to turn it off. make sure you pause the song before going back or your keys backlight will at funky. Hope this helps, if it does not send me a PM.

  • this burns out your keyboard backlight after a while...

  • what do u mean?

  • i mean that it wears out the backlight for the keyboard, if you use it continuously, the backlight stops working completely.

  • Oh, i don't, i only use it sometimes.

  • still, use it with caution

  • ok np

  • hey, can anybody say me what's this song plz??? I want it 4 my macbook pro :P thx

  • this is The way I Are by timberland, its the instrumental

  • how do you find the plug ins folder

  • yo sup aaron? its sean

  • u have to find ur iTunes Plug-ins folder and stick the plug in in there.

  • i tried downloading ispazz and it doesnt work anymore. could u tell me what u did to get this to work?
