Two years ago the Vikes destroyed the Niners 27-7. Although the Niners D held Purple Jesus to just 3 yards, the turnovers ended up killing them. This year, the Niners still have the same defense that stopped Peterson and a greater focus on ball control. The Vikings have the all time leader in interceptions thrown.

If the Niners defense holds down AP and dominates on 1st down, they have a very good chance of winning. This is definately the best NFL matchup of week 3.

Frisco you are right on point. I honestly think we can bret favre... just look at the stats he only has like 250 yards total in two games against horrible defenses. Adrian peterson also has played against those same defenses. I say we win by 3 with Joe nedney kicking the game winning field goal. And definitely the RT position needs to step up ASAP

I said I like Mike Singletary and that you guys are definitely going in the right direction with your club. The Vikings need to stop Frank Gore and if they do that and put Hill in passing situations that will make things really hard for your offense. The Metrodome is crazy loud and Jared Allen is no joke. vikings the best rushing defense? these guys have been allowing 109 yards rushing per game(15th in nfl) and that was against the browns and lions... i'm not scared of their d.. last year was last year... and i'm also not scared of adrian peterson,... we have great linebackers that can contain him and i'm not scared of their ancient qb either.... we can definitely win this game
