hell i grew up in the city os sanfran, i was beat and jumped by 7 cops when i was 13 back in 1982 for mistaken identity. they put a shotgun to my mother and sisters head. they took me behind the police stantion over in the Haight ashbury area across from Cala Foods, I think it was called North Station. huge lawsuit, but the cops got off and kept their jobs. my day will come when they r old and someone beats their ass n when they face God n have no more excuses y they did what they did 2 me .

Marin County has a long history of liberal thinking which boils down to "the government should not dictate peoples choices" - this goes far beyond weed smoking, but to a broader perspective- equal rights, organics choices, grass fed beef, anti-corporation, etc... as far as marijuana - Marin is on the forefront of fighting for medical marijuana rights.... that you abuse that, up to you. Follow your bliss. :)

The best police ever, the best place to live too, spend ten wonderful years of my life in this beautyful county, now is almost two years since I moved out but I think Of Marin and its people all the time. Miss it much.

My experience has been the opposite- and I live here. :) The cops here are good people and just ask that you respect the community - verbally, physically and mentally. Come to Marin and you will see! ;)

@SarmVX Yes Sarm they are all assholes don't even think of coming here & tell all your friends too, Marin's just a TERRIBLE place to live - high crime, slumvilles, miles of outdoor malls, Targets, WallMarts and smog you would completely hate it not to mention the fact that contrary to the news, our public schools do NOT rank highest in the nation we are completely at the lowest. DO NOT MOVE HERE whatever you do, especially not with your children - I hear Compton's nice!
