This may partially look like a double track, as you say. In fact, when I constructed this layout, I imagined a triple and double tracks in Orin subdivision in WY. However, this layout is exactly a twisted single track. Trains can run in both directions. At the double crossing, trains can switch to shortcut the route.
At present, this is just my hobby. I have no time to technically support this complicated signal system. However, I will update my web site for how to assmble them, and may supply any kits of these signal boards.
Is this double tracked the whole way around? Do you need to run an even number of trains in both dierections for this to work?

can i ask what radius your curve's are ??? ,your trains dont look out of scale going around thank you

Kato Unitrack R718mm is mainly used. However, R481mm is also mixedly used to adjust the radius.
