I have this Roushcharger plus a little more in my otherwise mostly stock 07 GT with 3.73 gears. Same colour too. She's a rocket all right, I love the blower whine. You can just stomp on it and that wail just turns heads everywhere. I love it.
It's sad that this car is supercharged making 435hp and only runs 12.9s on street tires lol. F-bodies are running 12.6s with lids, exhaust and dyno-tunes. Besides the new 5.0s, all N/A mustangs are just a big yawn.

my point in the flesh. its a classic example of a high-end Mustang; not enough performance to justify the price i.e. too much bark and not enough bite. other examples are the 2008 GT500 KR and the SuperSnake. it may make a shit-ton of power but cant get it to the ground. the only Mustangs that were done right in my opinion were the 03-04 Cobras and the new 5.0s

My grandmother bought the first 1966 mustang in our town in 1966. Automatic, 289, Chrome air conditioner unit , power steering- all for 2600$ out the door price. I was with her that day and was six years old. I look at the prices today and have a heart attack every time I look at how the prices go up. Nice cars but you have to be a lottery winner to own one. Great car and Respect.
Is it just me that thinks Mustang Roush is a bad name? When you think of a beautiful car you think of beautiful names like Lotus Elise, Porsche Carrera and Lamborghini Gallardo. Then you have nice cars without beautiful names but they still sound pretty awesome like Subaru Impreza etc.

Stop rapping on the car like it's your girlfriends front door, try to have more of an "autoshow" presentation, walking slowly around the vehicle and sounding a little more professional. Put on a suit, work on your delivery of the features of each vehicle has to offer, and I am sure you will get more positive feedback.
And try not to be so opinionated, talking about what you you you want isn't very entertaining. I do think you have a great concept, showing the world the vehicles you have to offer.
I know it's strictly a marketing gimmick, but they really need to get rid of the 427 nomenclature entirely...plus the hood scoop looks pretty dorky. Disk brakes are a bit small given the weight and the louvers need to disappear.

I don't get why people think superchargers sound like dying cats with a "terrible sound"... sounds like a space ship or something taking off! I'd probably prefer supercharger sound over turbo, too. Such a powerful and commanding sound combined with a big, meaty V8.

Add the addition of one of the greatest tuners alive and you get a better response. The US alone is the biggest market for new/used and collector car in the world(excluding china) if that alone isn't appreciation, i don't know what is. mostly every American dreams of owning great cars, specially BMW's and other Imports. But I think people are quicker to give you a nod or thumbs up because it reflects America memories of the old muscle cars. I know it sounds cheesy. @QFizzV8Fizz with the gt500 and an upgraded suspension it is worth the money because of the performance. and + the roush isn't easily upgradable, performance wise, the gt500 you can switch a supercharger and pulley and get 750-900 hp. thats potential, the gt500s got it, the roush doesnt.
And for those trying to compare this to the GT500, the GT500 has a ton more HP but it's slower because of it's much greater weight. I would take this over the 07-09 GT500s

I always have people want to take a picture of my '65 Mustang- lots of thumbs up and waves- whereas people don't even look twice at my cousin's Carerra 4s. ( I think 4S?)

ugh why is it called a '427R' if it doesn't have a 427 in it?
I love nearly all Fords but they do that shit with their numbers... like the '460 Mach' sound system.... flame if you want, it just aggravates me.

@QFizzV8Fizz with the gt500 and an upgraded suspension it is worth the money because of the performance. and + the roush isn't easily upgradable, performance wise, the gt500 you can switch a supercharger and pulley and get 750-900 hp. thats potential, the gt500s got it, the roush doesnt.

The 427 I though it stood for 427 cu. in. but it as 4.6 L. witch is what 289 cu. in.

And for those trying to compare this to the GT500, the GT500 has a ton more HP but it's slower because of it's much greater weight. I would take this over the 07-09 GT500s

@chopper82p the only thing nicer about a gt500 is the power other than that the roush is way better a gt500 is just a gt mustang with a 5.4L 32V motor with a supercharger
