@moparmonster1965 God does believe in THE Bible. In our eighth article of faith it states that we believe the Bible to be the word of God, as far as it IS TRANSLATED CORRECTLY. We follow the OT and NT and use it as reference in all things. But we also know it may have been translated wrong at one point. In the BOM, God's word doesn't change, but many corrupt is saying to decieve us.
And what is "Christianity"?What is the one TRUE Faith?People have fought, burned, murdered,persecuted, imprisoned all in the name of 'BURNING OUT HERESY". LDS folks really believe Joseph Smith-I don't & obviously neither do you; polytheism is incomprehensible to me;the idea of achieving deification is ludicrous offensive to me. BUT true blue LDS adherents believe JS was a true prophet.God has JS& has judged him for what he's done, but I think God is more tolerant of LDS who truly believe.

Congrats!!!Hope your labors are fruitful. I'm not even LDS. You need to remember it's the willingness to serve God and spread His word which will please Him. Do the best you can, remember it's about God, not you,and be a "Fisher of men". God bless you and your family!!
Sorry, sport...I am not LDS/Mormon...I'm one of those "pesky Papists".Seriously, I just believe," In My Father's House there are many mansions" and that means there's room for those of us who believe in Christ and do the best we can to follow in His path. We are so very human;we try and interpret, define God and say, You'll only find salvation through THIS path (fill in whatever Christian path, etc.,etc). I think God's Love for us goes beyond our feeble attempts to limit Him. Love one another.
I like the Mormons..heck, I like Episcopalians, Friends, Methodists, Baptists (ok, even Jehovah's witnesses, but I don't get not celebrating Xmas, birthdays, etc.). People hear the Gospel and follow the faith they feel comfortable with...I can't/won't judge them when I see them practicing their faith. It's like lighting candles and obliterating the darkness of intolerance. We ARE all children of God.
