  • I believe that there wasn't much difference between Sid Little on stage and, er, the real Sid Little.

  • Hank used to tell a great story about Syd Little, that I couldn't possibly repeat...

  • Ah, I heard about this but never saw it. Hank certainly always had good female singers. Never knew about Darlene but she certainly belts it out.

Little & Large look more like Bill & Ben.

  • I suppose we have to be grateful that we have this footage of Hank & the rest of the crew. Fantastic & maybe one of the best line-ups he ever performed with. Stevensjohn - I'm not sure - I don't think it's Cissy but I could be wrong

Shame it had to be under the auspices of a pair of no-talent wankers like little & not so little. (Or not at all funny & even less funny as we used to call them)

    Gaun 'yersel Hank

  • I was in the audience at the recording of this in the BBC T.V. Centre, Wood Lane on 15 Oct 1984, only memorable part of the show!

  • No, this was Darlene Wangford who didn't play with the band that long. I think I only saw her the once at the Sir George Robey. Cissy came after her.

  • Is this Cissy Footwear or Irma?

    Happy memories.
