im extremely sorry for your loss. these dogs are wonderful and its awful that her life was cut short. not too long ago we had to put down our aussie after 13 wonderful years of life.
She was such a pretty dog, atleast she had a great life while it lasted...I can tell you loved her. I thought it was hard losing my cat...but I couldn't ever imagine getting through the loss of my dog. =(

thanks everyone for the kind words, and nice comments about the video. i still can't really watch this without getting emotional. we do have a new dog now. a border collie named stella, and she is a real joy as well, and has been a temendous help in healing from the loss of lily.
So sorry for your loss, Joel. Lily grew into a beautiful Aussie, and it is easy to see what a wonderful, love-filled life you gave her. The live is so short, but with a dog it's wonderful. When a dog die, then is the body away, but nobody can take you your memories. People are sometimes nice, sometinmes we love theyr, but a dog, we only can love. Dogs are more than just dogs, they are pure love! I wrote this for my black-tri Aussie "Ebony", who died in the age of only 1 1/2 years because of a heart-failure. It happened before two weeks. Is't terrile, for everytime.
Thanks for sharing your picture of your awesome dog Lily. My wife and I were welling up with tears watching it. It's interesting how Aussies start off with that short hair. She had a cute pink nose... So sorry for your loss.
