  • You could be a world class scat photographer

  • you got too much time on your hands dude

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Haha, no doubt. This freaked me out and got me worried about the dog, but it was really nothing to worry about as long as it gets treated. I had to document and post it... glad it's over!

  • awwwww, dang that dookie looks dericious

  • Don't tell me that's shit...

  • @benny3214 Yep. He had tapeworms and got treated with Drontal within hours of me spotting this. Tapeworm is an intestinal parasite - a live, wormlike organism that lives in the intestine. Pieces, or segments, can break off and pass through in the stool, as seen in this video. I live in a rural area with lots of wildlife passing through my yard on a regular basis - I see this in my dogs every 3-4 years. Two rounds of Drontal knocked it out. I posted so that other will know what to look for.

  • i hope drontal works i justt noticed those worms on my dogspoop

  • @alejandrito10 It works. Ask your vet for two doses. Give one immediately and the seconds 3-4 days later. It's fairly expensive at ~$25/dose, but it's a very tolerable medication and will save you a second trip to the vet

  • your dog is looking at you like "WHY ARE YOU FILMING THIS?!?! YOUR SO MEAN!!" i have many experiences of tape worm with animals my grandma has many pets but when they get them we treat them immediately they dont get it often but when they do its TO THE VET!!

  • @PockyRoxas Yeah, he's a very curious dog... very interested in why I was so interested in his poop. I gave him a dose of Drontal Plus about a half hour after seeing this. Works great with no adverse affects. No sign of parasites within 24-hours. I have NO IDEA how he picked this up - no ticks, no fleas, and he doesn't hunt.

  • @rockhead261 oh thats good maybe it couldve been in something he ate outside sometimes that happens but you never know but they always come from that hm very curious as to why he got them well im sure you are taking very good care of him and he is in very good hands :D

  • @rockhead261 maybe your feeding him some kind of meat... I remember my dog had some tapeworms, I saw dozens wriggling but I was 6 then :P
