When I ask you for a donation I'm actually asking you for money to keep me employed. A $5 one-time donation can do that.- canvasser

@mkrug4 I don't think that's the ONLY reason they ask for money. It's not just to keep them employed but yeah the fact of the matter is if canvassers don't "produce" they're out the door.

@mkrug4 I'm a bit confused. I *thought* that you were making fun of the video by saying that *she* was basically saying a canvasser only wants money to keep their job. I do know what I'm talking about, thank you. I'm a former canvasser and I was actually a field manager. I understand that you were upset that I didn't fully get your point, but please don't say I have no right to share my opinion based on a small misunderstanding. Thanks.

Ohh man, I just canvassed for like 3 days. Man it was hell. Some people are just loco.

I know this woman named Parfay that has a slightly similar job. She gets a lot of bitchy people to deal with, but she's also very persistent, to the point of literally standing in their doorways for a couple hours till they give her money.

It works really well if they're hungry or tired.
