  • The WWF was so much funnier then, than now. There were so many different funny people then.

  • You can't throw a gun into the ring! lol!

  • LMAO!!!! 4:54-5:01

  • It's good that they did the show in character.

  • Slick is awesome!!!!

  • Akeem the fucking African Dream is the best black wrestler in history, that's stating the obvious.

  • Look at Boss Man rubbing his nose.Hmmmm,...

  • "He's a real brotha!" lol, that gimmick was awesome.

  • LOL A black wannabe pimp managing a redneck prison guard and a confused, fat white kid who claims to be from the deepest of Africa hahaha. Wrestling will never be this good again. By the way, check out Akeem at 5:05, how is he supposed to have Bossman's back while spazzing out at the same time? Haha. I miss the good old wwf days.

  • @jaybloke100 U Ain't Lyin'

  • I love how Slick and the Towers stay in character and keep a straight face...

  • I guess Bossman would not have teamed with the One Man Gang. Bit of a conflict of interest.

  • @malfoy2 Well, heel Boss Man might have...gang member and corrupt cop; it works in the movies and on police dramas, lol

  • @fivebearrugs but it turned out Bossman was NOT corrupt. He was just brutal

  • @malfoy2 You're right; the brutal Boss Man wouldn't even take a bribe, as DiBiase would find out months later :)

  • lmao @ 2:57

  • ROFL at slick dancing during the beatdown

  • a counterfeit like Koko B. Ware LMFAO

  • Arsenio does a great job selling for these guys.

  • Who needed a soap opera when the old WWF was on TV?

  • COONING AND CLOWNING I LOVE IT!!

  • wow was akeem serious who taught him how to be black urkle?

  • @joeytrimble LOL, Akeem was originally the One Man Gang and sometime in the fall of 1988, Slick helped him discover his African roots :)

  • I don't care how many times I watch this video, I laugh every freakin time! The WWF in the 80's and 90's was better than any soap opera on tv. True geniuses! I want my old WWF back!

  • @222tattoo your words are soooo true....i love when slick gets up to fight arsenio....lol

  • One of the Greatest WWF Tag Teams of All Time.. need to be in Hall of Fame..

  • Slick, Boss Man and Akeem for WWE Hall of Fame 2011!!

  • slickster would kick arsenio's ass

  • arsenio loved the wwf from what I noticed he always had wwf stars before a house show in LA.

  • "I know you jealous of my clothes, I know you want to go buy some!".

  • I think WWF were by FAR the best entertainers during this time. BY FAR. and the sad thing about this is they NEVER get the credit they rightfully deserve. its sad. these guys entertained us more than anybody during this time and wrestlers never get any credit.

  • 5:01 Don't mess with the Bossman! :D

R.I.P. Ray Traylor (aka Big Bossman)

  • Akeem = Greatest Gimmick of All Time!

  • Lol the ref was like "what the f***?"

  • those dance moves are one of a kind and quite hypnotic. meanwhile, that guy handcuffed to the ropes was getting the piss beat out of him, lol. damn, who writes the scrips for wwf now? ever since they lost the f, it's been shit. anywho, arenio's show was the coolest!

  • It sucks now, because Shane and Stephanie run it.

Vince McMahon was a genius when he was making the gimmicks and storylines, the likes of which we have not seen since.

  • Shane has left the WWE, it's now run by Triple H and Stephanie. I do agree that Vince had good ideas in the past, but he used to copy his competitors a lot as well.

  • Slick is the man! He's so nigerish I love it. And I dont mean that in a racist way at all. Im mad nigerish 2!

  • one of the best cage matches ever. Of course I was for BBM. I always rooted for the bad guys.

  • to bad that at wrestlemania in 2001 the gimmick battle royal akeem did came out as one man gang and not as akeem.

    love akeem!!!

love the video on you tube ´´one man gang becomes akeem, at 3.10min foooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooll to mean gene hahahahahaha lmao

  • he lost so much weigh the akeem outfit didnt fit him that why he was the one man gang

  • Boss Man rulez

  • Slick's laugh at 4:50 cracked me up!!

  • I miss you Bossman R.I.P

  • lol @ Arsenio SPRINTING off stage after asking about Boss Man's ass whoopin.

lol @ Slick telling Arsenio he's "not a real brotha" lol

lol @ Slick saying "See homeboy? We used to do it for the money....til we got rich. Now we just do it cuz we like to beat people UP" lol

Oh, and LOVE the beginning clip with Akeem and Slick dancing to Jive Soul Bro lol

  • LMAO!!! Love when the wrestlers are in character.

  • 4:36 "the duke of dignity"

  • At 4:55 of the video, I was laughing my ass off when Arsenio asked Slick and Akeem how they felt when they saw Hulk Hogan whip Big Bossman's ass.

  • akeem ruled

  • CLASSIC

  • damn I miss these kayfabe interviews

  • big boss man one of those wrestlers that died due to riods. what a damn shame! first black championship was actually a white man.

  • The funny thing is, they could have just put One Man Gang with Bossman and it would have made so much more sense. Instead they turned OMG into Akeem. Though, I found Akeem to be the more entertaining character.

  • I can't believe I never realized until now what an odd picture a wanna-be black man, a redneck prison guard make, and a psuedo-pimp make!

  • Slick to Arsenio: "You ain't a real brutha!!" If Akeem had beat Hogan, he would've been the first African-American to hold a world title!!

  • what was the name of that song/man got to get it.!

  • Are you referring to Jive Soul Bro.

  • is it me or does bossman look exactly like farva from super troopers???

  • Miss the good old days of WRESTLING.

  • I love how Akeem and Slick are blocking the ref with their funk dancing.

If a man as large as Akeem wanted to dance in my face, I'd just let him.

Even if he looks very much like that fat kid spazzing out on the couch.

  • Lol. I was thinking the same thing. If I was the ref and a 400 pound white guy with an identity crisis and a pseudo-pimp were dancing in front of me, I'd just stand back.

  • JIVE SOUL BRO BABY!!!!

  • That was so fun. I miss those days.

  • Yeah, Akeem was alot blacker than Cena. Not the greatest gimmick in the world, but it was entertaining as hell. I LOVED Akeem!

  • I head that the Honky Tonk Man was on the Arsenio Hall

Show. I wonder if you have it.

  • i wish i still had my old hasbro akeem figure.

  • Also, you think a team with the name Twin Towers would go over today?

  • Someone mentioned in a previous video how Akeem was blacker than John Cena, and I couldn't agree more.

  • From deepest,darkest Africa...LOL!

  • @ Bigbossmanjulian

    No fucking shit!

  • WoW! i like the way Bossman swings his nightstick i think that proofs that he really was a Prison guard in old Cobb county .

  • This was awesome. I loved how they could stay in character and still make it entertaining.
