I all for Christian regaeton, just as I agree we should reach out through rap and rock... The problem I see is in the image. As Christians we ate mandated to glorify Christ in all we do, covering yourself with all kinds of " bling bling" does just the oposite, it says to the world that we are just like them, makin money and being made by money, you want proof? Look at some of the comments nonbelievers have made already, they find it unlikely that this is truly Christian and not phony...why?

I all for Christian regaeton, just as I agree we should reach out through rap and rock... The problem I see is in the image. As Christians we ate mandated to glorify Christ in all we do, covering yourself with all kinds of " bling bling" does just the oposite, it says to the world that we are just like them, makin money and being made by money, you want proof? International house of prayer. in kansas city, Missouri. they have a conference called ONE THING at the end of the year, 25,000 people, getting together to love praise and worship God. The way you're saved is by accepting Christ as your savior, by knowing that Jesus died for you and saved you. If you really believe that, and you really mean it, then you're saved. God doesnt care how you dress, the dresscode was created by man, and all men are sinners. So how is wearing a suit going to change things up if sinners were the ones who made up that dress code and put it to peoples mind.

My pastor always says dont judge a book by its cover it dosent matter how we dress or how we look on the outside its our heart that matters and only God can see our heart dressing in a suite isnt making any one a better christian than the person in jeans and a t-shirt and whos to say thats how gangbangers dress thrs plenty of youth that dress like that and I think thats who these guys are trying to reach is the youth be honest how many teens wanna see a reggeaton wrapper in a suite

If I remembered correctly the when the bible was written there wasnt pants right so technically men where wearing dresses so dose that mean that men should still be dressing in dresses ah no. Im not trying to argue we all have diffrent point of views im a girl who weighed 95 pounds wearing big clothes too I was judged alot in church it didnt make me want to go to church every one will change but at the same time thats how they reach the youth its like i go to a church they have spanish and english service i go to the english service well the spanish service says that christian reggeaton isnt of god and that the hip hop routines that my youth dose isnt of god.

i dont have a problem with music. my problem is these called christian artist who wear bandanas and give off this thug image to kids. i dont know but when GOD changes someone i tell ya that image will change because that image is of the world. its a wicked image. its not a holy image. i believe they can sing their style of music with a Good image. music is music it becomes wicked with what words come out. my problem is the lack of respect i tell you what GOD is a jealous GOD and he will judge.

well ask yourself this question, did jesus need to look like a thug to win over bad people? did jesus need to blend in and change his persona to win hearts? its not about blending in. its about having anointing the holy spirit does the work not us. how can you be sure these people do not attend their church in that manner? all i know is that little kids see this and think its cool to wear bananas to church and look like a criminal why? i tell you why because these guys pormote that image.

I dont know about other kids but the youth in my ministry love reggeaton and they know all about manny montes and ricky la llama and all them but they do not dress like them. Jesus didnt blend in true but he ws the only perfect person to ever walk this earth I dont see any thing wrong with thr clothes i agree about the bandanas though that dose put it a little over the top

you dont think clothes is a big issue? what did GOD tell those in the book of genesis chapter 40? what about paul writing to the church and how they should present themselves? cmon everywhere there are dress codes. a thug has his dress code. can a GODLY person be a thug? even some clubs have dress codes. my point is when it comes to GOD we always want it our way. my dad is a pastor in nyc he has a dress code. means dress to respect the house of GOD.

i go to church on sunday wearing a t-shirt & jeans, or shorts & a tank top with steel toe shoes =]
our outside appearance is critical to a sense. i mean we cant go around parading Satan attire when we claim to love and follow God, or walk around "showing off our bodies", you know? but everyone these days is so bent up on how everyone looks "fashion"-wise. and TV sure does Not help that. God doesnt care how fashionable we are.
