anyone love how it goes from an upbeat tempo to "prom chords" at 1:36? When it gets to that part, I suddenly imagine myself in a fitted tuxedo and her, whoever she is, dancing slowly with me, and then when the tempo picks up, she kicks off her heels and we both dance, throwing our bodies about to the rhythm, enjoying the best night of our youthful life... I need to write a short story about these feelings. :)
I remember the local scene during this period and how many great bands there were in the scene. The Floor, Por Nada, Storyboard, The Wolfnote, etc. Glad these guys are still around.
Stop talking about this faggotry mass effect in ALL FAUNTS VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE, seriously this is worse than talking about justin bieber everywhere... Faunts isn't a band made for Mass Effect, they just has ONE FUCKING SONG in this game so STOP TALKING ABOUT GAMES IN ALL THEIR VIDEOS.
Of course it must be annoying people talking about the Faunts song M4 Part II used in Mass Effect like its the only good song they have done. But I am very thankful to that game because if that song was not used in the end credits I would never have even heard of them and their great music.
Heard about this band through the magazine XLR8R; this track, albeit remixed, appeared as song 8 on their subscription only "Incite" (Vol. 67) CD - really, really dig it.
Man are these guys still around. I havent heard anything new from them.

@sakuravr2: Agreed. M4 Pt II isn't even my favourite Faunts song, and they are easily one of my favourite bands now.

No time to decide how far this royalty will stretch me
Long ago if it were up to me, who knows where I'd be
Had a need for a while before you left him, whose fault is it? We'll see
Well, I stay, free to leave, but what, what is there for me?

Who will it hurt I am free to go,
What will move me, I dont really know?

No time to decide how far this loyalty will stretch me
Long ago if it were up to me, who knows where I'd be
Had a need for a while before you left, whose fault is it? We'll see
I'm not chained, free to leave, but what, what is there for me?
If I go, and I might, I'm not sure my happiness will be there
Oh well, I have to rest before we feel the need to go elsewhere
Have I died? I can't solve this, not in my care
Can one man make a difference to the task of one who's been there

I'm gonna assume this is a song a relating to memories of past lives? The title suggests it I think.

This song is so concise. It's so dense with meaning and all that artsy stuff. It's amazing.

I agree!
You can buy it online at the Friendly Fire Recordings site or Itunes. It's unlikely that you'll find their albums at a local store...
