I love this video. I've made the trip up the north shore for several years. If you get a chance stop at Beth's fudge in Grand Marais. They have the best fudge. It's funny hearing that southern accent up north.

Um Little Falls is not along Lake Superior, in fact, it's not even along Highway 61! Little Falls is on Highway 10, in Central MN. I used to live on Highway 61 in Wyoming, MN.

When I saw Brainerd I thought of one thing, Paul Buneyon and Babe the Blue OX state park. I've been to Brainerd and the Paul Buneyon state park. The set of tracks you were going by belong to the North Shore Railroad. It is a tourist line. They don't mine coal that far north but they do mine iron ore. The plant you passed was an iron ore place.
