Have you even looked at a high fashion magazine from the 88-93 era?? Honey...That was peak right there!  There was so much experimentation during that time, that we could not possibly evolve beyond some of those looks. It is true - designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Rifat Ozbek pushed the silhouettes to all limits possible without becoming impracticle. There is only so much "evolving" that can happen when dealing with the constaints of the human body!
