I honestly didn't know the White Hawkstrider was that rare of a mount, I got it my second try. It was the damn phoenix that took me 30 runs.

@FueledByRyan0 North east part of the Isle of Quel'danas I believe. To get there you need to use a flight point from Ironforge or Silvermoon City (unless they let you fly there from anywhere)

FWIT, that Phoenix Hatchling pet is consistently voted the best non-combat pet in the game. I'm not at all fussed about the mount, but I'll be farming MgT for that pet on any new toons.

i'm run Heroic MgT runs now - 6 runs so far for no mount. Phoenix Hatchling has dropped twice & i'm almost Revered with SSO already. it's a nice mount, i actually like Hawkstriders :) Everyone moans about them but i doubt few people would knock back the chance of getting this, especially Alliance toons.

At Kael'thas u can skip when he speak by pulling him when atleast 1 npc of the last pack so u spare urself about 2 minutes :)

Is this able to be solo'd easily on an 80 (I have an arms and protection spec, 36.6.k hp unbuffed) warrior? (Geared about a 4.8k GS or so, don't know for sure) Just asking because I'd rather not get into the farming mindset and then epic fail.
