GP35 repowered with a CAT prime mover. It's since been retired, but that loco sounded so nice

Really? makes since with it working in peoria. How long ago was it retired?
I want to say it was mid year last year it hit the dead line. Last I heard it was sitting at the (now retired) Illinois & Midland loco shop in Springfield with it's sister 2000. Hope they get sold or reactivated at some point in the future.

WOW!!! That's soo cool, I know some peopl;e that lived in morton but are now living in Flanagan. Have you heard of the company Morton metalcraft?
