OMG i freakin loved this show sooo very much...its been my favoirte since the beginning and i havent seen a show yet thtat even comes close to being as good as ER is,,,,,i cried so hard when during the final episode...ER FOREVER!!!!!

It's so weird because I watched ER back when I was in Middle School and Now to see Alex Kingston as River Song I find myself every now and again thinking Dr. Corday? XD She must have been River Song before this farewell scene as well. A bit odd : )

I think Carter is given the star status on the show because if you go back to season one, he was just a med student or first year, then became a resident, eventually becoming an attending. It was kind of shown through his eyes with a strong supporting cast. Doug was my favorite character personally, but hey.

Noah Wyle speaks so well, John Carter and Mark Greene were my favourite characters, so sad to say goodbye to ER

Since ER went off the air, TV is dead!!! ER was the BEST show on TV. I've watched every episode and I gotta say that the last episode was the best in ER history :-) and It was cool to bring back the old cast members to say goodbye.

Um, excuse me narrator...I think Laura Innes, who was on the show more consecutive years than anyone else and had second most episodes deserves some mention... :)

@simplywoven Carter was in the serie the most though but yeah I think the character of Kerry who was the most in the deries after Carter should also be mentioned. But than again all chars should and hee they are XD.

They will all be rememberd but Carter is a bit what you call the simbol characters of the series.

@amberanime Oh, I realize that. But Laura Innes never, ever gets the recognition she deserves when it comes to ER...Carter was great, and Noah Wyle is extremely talented, but I hate how he's considered the star. :)

ER started the year I was born, and when i first saw it I demanded to see all seasons up to that point. From the age of 13 I would tune into NBC at 10pm on Thursdays. Now it's gone, but at least there are reruns on TNT.

i remember when it started, it competed against Chicago Hope, but i watched ER cuz i knew some of the actors, and stuck with it for 15 years, i miss it so much

i really did not like the ending of ER. i've been following it for 15 years and I absolutely love the show; hoever I must say I was disappointed with the ending especially since there were rumours that George Clooney would show up and he didn't which was a big let down. I really dont think that the the finale did the show any justice whatsoever.

I loved it! The episode with Clooney, julianna, Eriq and Noah was perfectly written but couldn't be the end. The show isn't about the people it's about the ER and as long as Chicago needs a county hospital it's never going to end. It's the show that never ends! I found it was true to form and after 15 years they still left you wanting more

the finale was great. i will miss it so much. i literally grew up with this show. it started when i was 4. i loved the throwbacks to the pilot, like lydia waking moris at the begining and the major trauma and 'deja vu' carter has at the end.

Yeah, I was also 4 when it started, i always used to sneak up and see it with my mom. The finale episode was great I was crying and screaming, amazing. Cant belive its over...
