This was done live and inserted into a pre taped Raw, they beamed the signal back to WWE's TV studio/Or USA Network and people with a KU Band satellite dish i think it was called could pick up this signal, which is how this footage got out. The same thing used to happen with the Smackdown Tapings when they'd beam the show back to the studio for immediate editing

@Lloydgo Yes; until Raw went live every week after the debut of Smackdown, most of the commentary on the taped Raws were done LIVE from the WWE studio in Stamford. The commentary for the Christmastime "Tribute to the Troops" special is done in Stamford as well.

Wrong. Pillman was extremely well used in WWE. He was even part of the hottest program of 1997 up until he died - The Hart Foundation vs. Austin/HBK./USA.
