Im surprised the tank didnt go any further, must have had little air left at all. If you think about it most items dont even get over 100 psi in pressure. Like a tire will sit around 40psi and there nasty if exploded.

@Ubernator44 they dont use CO2 anymore, this was an old C02 cannister, the cannisters have short threadings from the reg into the tank. the newest airsystems have 3 inch longer threads, ive had my tank unscrew in game before and it just lost a lot of air, no flying tank.

I've had plenty of ASA inner rails bend because of diving and crawling, but mostly because of the style of Dovetail that they were attached to. If your dovetail or dropforward secures the ASA with a single setscrew that pushes down into the ASA top to hold it in place, then generally it's putting pressure on one spot, potentially weakening the ASA. A dovetail that pushes out against the ASA is better

It wasn't the ASA that broke. The tank regulator only releases about 750 PSI, which is not enough to send the tank off like a rocket. It must of been something with the tank regulator.

Co2 tanks are usually at 2500-3000 PSI, and theres no way it would be up to 4500. 4500 PSI is for HPA almost exclusively.
