i used a boss metal zone pedal so my amp was on clean. as for the pedal, i'm not sure what i had it at because this was when i was still messing around with the settings. but if i ever only use the amp, i usually put it on the green lit insane, then put trebble at 10, about 7for bass, and mid about 8. i think...idk, hope that helped though

sry to bother you again but like i sayed this vid is awsome. on your ibanez have u had any trouble with the tremolo

yeah, the only problem i had with it was when i changed the strings, i wasn't really sure what i was doing and i took all of the strings off and then replaced them all. this caused the tremelo to loose tension so the strings made it rise as if i were holding the wammy bar down. i solved this by tightening the screws attached to the springs in the back, but i could have avoided the whole thing if i where to replace one string at a time instead of all at once. it conserves tension that way.

i would deffinately recommend my guitar. i got it at a local guitar center for $450 and i think it's worth more than that. it feels so nice and smooth to play and, in my opinion, sounds awesome and looks very sexy :P. the only thing is that you should learn about the floating bridge that this (and any other) guitar has, because at first, i almost messed it up when changing the strings, but if you're experienced, you should be all set. also, look around to make sure you get what you want.

i would also recommend the amp if you were looking for a good medium sized amp. i would really recommend anything from line 6, i think they're great. my friends have half stacks, and those things are beasts. but again, look around to make sure it fits you......i hope this helped, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! and thanks for watching :)

Do you know if that Boss Metal Zone gives you a lot of sustain for solos? It sounds awesome, and like A7X, is that on a specific setting?

i'm not playing on any specific setting really. i just played around with them until i got something that i liked. but yeah, the metal zone pedal can give you a pretty wide range of tones and some intense distortion. i would recomend it or at least to check out some reviews or something online. it cost me like 100 bucks at my local guitar center.
