@kalidor33 Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn he is a god there r cultist all around the world it isnt based off a book but a religion itself
in 2012 if i see this i will bow down, turn cultist and then shit my, no fucking wa... OH MY GOD HE'S EATING MY SOUL RIGHT IN FRONT OF M............ cthulu, "buuuurrrrppppp
cthulhu would not be pleased with this. he would devour your soul and digest it over millions of years and fill the world with madness and rage jut cuz u did this.
They're made using split and re-attached, shrunken-down arm parts without graspers. It's been awhile since I've played Spore, but you can break parts of an arm off holding either Alt, Ctrl, or Shift as you drag parts around. You can also reattach and duplicate segments using one of those modifier keys (I forget which does which.) You can look it up or just play around with it and figure it out that way.
They're just shrunken-down arms with no grapsers. The front tentacle is three digits and the others are just two. Had to do the same for the wings on the trial Creature creator which I made this on. I should probably update it to use the newer bat-like wings on the retail version of Spore...
No. Unfortunately my Cthulhu contains no mouth, and the part complexity reached max. To even save it I had to remove some parts to add a mouth. And I don't really want to share an unfinished product that doesn't quite work well on its own. Maybe I'll get around to optimizing it better at some point.
Thanks. I did my best to keep it close as possible to the original statue/idol art of him. A lot of the more modern forms seem to depict him as being too skinny.
This was all made through the trial version of Creature Creator. Which is also why I had to make the wings from scratch. The trial version didn't have working demon/bat wings. So cell-stage stuff was out of the question pretty much. I did eventually update this model when I got Spore. I just haven't uploaded it.
I would love to see it. I think this is the best Spore Cthulhu out there right now, so if you made a better one once you got the full game, then by all means show us. =D

Is this based off of the semi graphic book called Samurai Cat?
kalidor33 1 year ago
@kalidor33 Never read it. This is based off the classic, pot-bellied, squatting statue depictions of Cthulhu Fhtagn from Lovecraftian mythos.
