  • lol, peter jetten, grinder grinder, peter jetten

  • @johndeerishere Yeah.. What the wtf right?

  • @colcon4354

Sounds like a plan, Do you want to play 1 on 1 my full tilt poker ID is socon9758 =]

    And yes

Ya might have saw people talking on their FB wall currently ya could create an account using the code AMERICAS at Full Tilt Pokers web site.

I think it's the best way if you're a newer player to start playing.. They will DOUBLE your 1st deposit oh and a few other sexy perks. Its limited to the first few thousand players that sign up using this

  • Thanks for uploading this

  • test

  • This last hand is why you don't go all in with just the nut straight in Omaha .Someone who raises you for all your chips usually has the straight with a redraw . Of course this is a tournament where the blinds are probably pretty high. So, I don't blame Jetten for that play that much.

  • Don't think you can blame him much, are you really gunna lay down the nut straight HU? He could have a set in which case its even money and he has to make the initial raise so the pot odds say call anyway?

  • If you read the comment you would see I said I could'nt blame him much because it was a tourney and the blinds are high. Also, if Smyth had a set Jetten would be the favorite- not even money.

  • Also, if you consider Smyth's preflop raise it is very likely he had big cards that fit that board- i.e. a straight.Another clue that he(Smyth) had also the nut straight is his reraise all in. But, like I said it is a tourney not a cash game where you can not wait very long for a better spot.

  • @johndeerishere

    dude were talking about omaha!

so why the hell should a preflop raise mean he has big cards?

in omaha there are a LOT of hands u can raise preflop...

Why should he also have the nut straight!? he could have had a set, a flush draw, two pair.. He just took the chance do win the tournament.

  • Your right, he does'nt necessarily have big to raise preflop, but it's more likely. Then when he reraises all in after the flop then it's much more likely he big cards that fit that board. You have to consider the action pre AND post flop, not just think about just your own hand to be a great Omaha(or for that matter any great poker player) player. Of course there are overly aggressive players where there's exceptions, but Smyth does'nt seem to be that kind of player.

  • I would like to make one more point. If you did read Smyth for having the same nut straight with a redraw then it would be correct to fold, even heads up, because you probably are being freerolled with no wins.

  • @johndeerishere

and btw: even if smyth would have a flush and straight draw, a set, or two pair jetten would still be in big favour to win the hand.

so nothing to talk about here.

  • In Omaha it's not that difficult for someone else to have the same straight with a redraw. So, if you're really playing your A game in Omaha you can pass for a better spot. Even with the blinds so high if your disciplined you can lay down this hand and wait for a better spot. And , Smyth's reraise preflop is a strong clue that Smyth has the same straight with probably a rerdraw.

  • I said ,Encl0suRe if you can read, that if Jetten would be the favorite if Smyth had a set. Obviously he (Jetten) would be a favorite if Smyth were on a draw,(although there are a lot favorites in Omaha with draws over made hands).

  • thats about what i said.. lol.. u got to be kidding!

  • Hey, Encl0suRe, then what the hell are you saying- that I said Smyth would be a favorite with draw. I never said anything like that. So what the wtf! Your just one of those asssholes that likes to get on the internet and bitch about anything.

  • but smyth is favourite, cant u read the numbers?

    its 69% to 31%.

and what do u mean with: " so what the what the fuck!" ? couldnt puzzle that one?

btw i didnt start the bitching, u did, by provocating me ("enclosure, if u cant read")

  • Encl0suRe, I never said Jetten was the favorite and never said Jetten was an underdog to a set, straight or flush draw, so yeah, WTF!!! I was explaining why it was likely Smyth had the same straight with a redraw. Your going all over the place and your are'nt making any sense.Your the one starting the provoking- saying things I never said.

  • still dont get why it is likely that smyth had the same straight.. no way you can see that without holecard cam.
