I've always sung along to the Bonnie Raitt version in a lower key. I do have a pretty good range, with the addition of falsetto.

To be honest, I haven't even tried singing it like George Michael does. So you may be wrong, you may be right :)

His interpretation has higher tones, but this is the characteristic of his voice
