i think kurt wrote this cd. it sounds like his lyrics and he was such a genuinely nice person that he could give an album away and no 1 would ever know.

courtney love is 1 of my favorite singers. it's bad when she is trashy because she can be nice and is a talented singer and actress.

@benjie414 I have to disagree, and here is why. Read Courtney Love's diaries. A lot of her lyrics had their beginnings here. She used a lot of them in her songs, like "Rose white, rose red" (which appears in a couple songs) and there are other first drafts of songs like "Doll Parts" written way before she met Kurt. And a lot of them were started when she was in reform school as a teenager and when she was traveling the world, before forming Hole. This is late 70s, early 80s.

@benjie414 I doesn't sound like his lyrical style at all- compare "doll steak, test meat, look on the bright side is suicide/ lost eyesight I'm on you're side" to "you can try to suck my dry, but there's nothing left to suck, just you try to suck me dry, c'mon try to shut me up." Kurt had incredible respect for Courtney's intelligence and talent, even if you do not. and she has enough belief in her own that she wouldn't think someone else needs to write her songs for her.

@Liquidskeleton I think it might be a reference to sexual abuse of a young girl. I always thought it was a confession to children's services or something. "If I tell you everything, I hope you wont tell on me" is what makes me almost for certain of this. I think it might have something to do with her childhood, the reference to "Pee Girl" because she was called that as a little girl. I dont know if she was sexually abused in her childhood, but it might be autobiographical.

@davedorger Yea I met her after the Jonathan Ross show and performance :D wasnt actually filmed on a Friday night, was like on a wednesday morning or something :S takes away all its sentiment but hey, was amazing! You're SO lucky! i mean the fact that you were conscious during the early 90's! i was born 1992 -_- i discovered Live Through This and Hole like when I was 12 and missed ALL the hype and touring :/

She references milk on the album so much.. and i dont even like milk :S. i always look at the associations - childhood, having a baby, innocence and the fact its mild and neutralising

wow. i have what i can only assume is a live version of this song and it is totally different. definitely angrier and more 'grunge' sounding. this version is still wonderful of course. this whole album is great

also in the other version she sings: "Burn the witch. The witch is dead. BURN THE BITCH JUST BRING ME BACK HER HEAD" and it's pretty awesome
