I make some of my hair treatment products and skin products...but it's a process. Those of use who are trying to be "green / natural " need to be gentle with our approach. i always thought that was stupid...to glue hair on top of a stocking cap...this girl tried her hardest to get me to do that i refused and my hair is to my shoulders i have not used glue in five plus years....i love your videos ms mikko i really do you reiterate what i already know letting me know that i am doing what i need to do to have and keep my hair healthy

Having natural hair dosent mean you have to completly live naturally in a sense. I dont kno why some naturals think they are superior to other textures, I certianly am not one of those naturals. Alot of good products I use contain mineral oil. I do use other oils like jojoba, coconut, etc. I just wld like another professionals opinion(plus, you are more experienced than I). Also, what do you think about parabens in hair products or makeup, etc? They are in almost everything!! Thanks!!! You are great!!!
Excellent video. Live and let live...don't judge or belittle other woman hair choices. These companies will slap natural on any product in order to get that all mighty dollar while using the same chemicals the 'NATURALS' turn their nose up to. I'm natural, but would never look down on person's choice of how they want to wear their hair, or live their life for that matter. Great job!!!

i like your channel bc you inform everyone relaxed or natural. and I never knew dudleys was one of the few truely black owned business until I watched the Good Hair movie. I use some "white ppl" product and they do my hair just fine and ppl always have something to say about it. The glue is going to go through the stocking and on to your hair. This will seal the stocking to your head cause you to pull out your hair from the roots. I live in Chicago and would like for you to do my hair.

I make products and will say that Sodium hydroxide when mixed with oil saponify, which means that in soap anyway there is actually no sodium hydroxide left in the finished product after a cure period.
as for the stocking cap--- Nasty!!

Colgate toothpaste has sodium hydroxide as well. I found out after an allergic reaction.

the glue settles and sticks to the hair, along with the track (that's glued to the stocking cap)...Now when it's time to take it off....OUCH....
