@nally16728 contestants. Hok actually auditioned for season 19 but was ruled out bec he didn't have his green card finalized yet. they gave him a pass for the following year provided he had his card in order.

This dance is actually my favourite dance I have ever seen on the show. I remember watching it on TV and everytime i watch it again i fall in love with dance all over. I havent watched recent SYTYCD seasons because, while I'm sure all the dances are beautiful, in my opinion nothing with ever measure up to this dance. Absolutely enchanting.

This is the most amazing and memorable piece of dance that I have ever seen. I majored in dance in college and this really touched me deeply because it is very similar to the spirit and coreography that i did at the time. 30 years ago.I'm coming from a break dance/house culture and studying ballet, modern and jazz in NYC. this stuff was cutting edge at the time. Not today of course.

I personally loved this dance. The reason why I think some people don't appreciate it is because it's an abstract piece it's not a story based dance. Wade Robinson probably imitated what he saw from an environment and put a dance together that resembled the movement of birds

Hok nearly made it to the final twenty, but had only a student visa and was unable to be legally employed in the United States, which resulted in his dismissal from the program. Then, he obtained a work permit and became eligible to participate in the competition in season three

Ryan Conferido (season 1 contestant) and Dominic Sandova (season 3) are also members of Quest Crew!

He also participated in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel as a hip-hop dancer

How lucky are Jamie and Hok; that they may not have won SYTYCD, but may be known for one of the best choreographed miniature dances ever, maybe in history. It's not too much. It's not too little. It isn't too fast, nor too slow. Yet it's fast and slow in all the right places. It's simply sublime.
