  • Very cool! The Castlevania sereis NEVER stops amazing me!

  • I think we all want to see what happens when Maria gets trapped in there. Thinking about it makes it even more scary.

  • DA-NU-NU-DA-NU-NU-NU-NUH.

  • "I'LL MAKE YOU MY MASTERPIECE!!"

  • @Vassalius

    "THIS IS ART!!"

  • @crackakillah "BLOOD ART TECHNICHE"

  • @MasterOnionKnight14

    "PAINTING OF THE SOUL!!"

  • I frickin' hate that thing.

  • He just sort of wanders around in this version, so he's not too hard to beat. But in the PSP version, damn. He just rushes straight for you and is really aggressive. He's killed me more times than Death at the end of the level.

  • ....

Now THAT'S just plain scary! x_x

  • LOVE THAT!!!! ritcher became a crucifix on 0:05!!!

  • hey..is it for snes?

  • It is for PC Engine Super CD.

  • Didnt see that one coming lol!!

  • This is like a warning to everyone, "Don't touch the painting, or else you'll be sorry."

  • @ARMORCRYSTAL They should install this security system in art museums.

  • Lol yeah!

  • that has GOT to be annoying. Even more so than getting hit by Medusas and then falling in the spikes.

  • does anyone think that brauner from PoR drew THAT?

  • Time Paradox!, but Brauner could have been the successor of that magic painting technique.

  • if he could draw paintings that you can enter, then he can draw ones that can kill you too.

  • Unfortunately Portrait of ruin takes place AFTER Rondo of Blood in timeline and to my knowledge, Brauner is human.

  • wut.

Did you miss the entire subplot about him biting and vamping Stella and Loretta?

  • I meant he was human prior to becoming a vampire. Although replaying POR Brauner has no allegiance to Dracula so him making that painting can be dubious, not to mention in PoR Brauner got pissed off at humanity 30 years prior to the events of PoR (set in 1944, so he got pissed roughly during the time of Bloodlines) whereas Rondo takes place in 1792. However Brauner does bear a striking resemblance to Orlock lol.

  • O3O crap, thats like one of the worst ways to die on a Castlevania videogame XD

    ...Hurhurharhahahaha

  • On the psp remake I ran into this character...I HATED IT >:( other then that it was a fun game to play.

  • Dude, these Japanese guys sure know how to scare us!

  • i DESPISE that enemy!

  • Freakin eriee.

  • Whoa. I never expected that.

  • I remember this. I was actually surprised there was an insta-kill in a Castlevania game - besides the bottomless pits, I mean.

  • What about the spiked crushers? in the first and third games for the NES? I mean, those were instant death hazards, too.

  • They didn't come to mind, I guess. :p

  • caught me by surprise!

  • Yeah, I've been there!

  • So have i.

  • scary!

  • indeed

  • Bad place to die....

    Scary....!
