Anybody who's had a problem with addiction, to alcohol or drugs, watch a film call The Lost Weekend. Even though it was made in 1945 this is one of the greatest films I've ever seen and quite amazing. I can say as an addict, that film helped me see boozing for what it was and change my life. Demise and Rise is important aswell. I'm glad the Jackass guys made this because too many people suffer with addiction and deal with other addicts without knowing what to do.

@WatchedPurse you will have to distinguish between physical and psychological addiction. for a psychological addiction you are right. but for a physical addiction the term "behaviour" isn't appropriate anymore. you're body feels the extreme need of consuming the drug again and will suffer incredibly until doing so. from that point on, it's kind of a disease which your body can't simply stop having. that's a long and hard process.
