Get Happy is an addictive album. First time I thought "not bad" and now I can't stop listening it.

E Costello has that rare combo that you DO NOT see in ANYONE in music today...fuck John Mayer and all the stupid wannabes...E put in time effort soul and NATURAL talent and craftsmanship. His songwriting is never going to be repeated again. I get so sick of people saying that Paul McCartney / Lennon were the best song writers.... hellano. E Costello blows them away. His singing has more texture than anyone else.. his lyrics have so much meaning and are clever. ALL this while still dance-able..

Check 1.55 - reminds me of "Broadway Danny Rose"....Mia Farrow; 'I love the way he throws the microphone from one hand to the other'.....Woody Allen: 'You like that?...I told him to do that, I showed him how to do that'!!! This is a great song and Get Happy is a great record. "Some things you never get used to". Mainly that Elvis was great from 76 to 80 and then just dropped a bomb on his fans. Bastard.
