  • You have to be the most tolerable atheist ever. I'm an atheist also and I'm sick of watching arrogant, condescending atheists calling everyone who believes in god stupid. It's refreshing to see someone who respects individual religious people and religion in general, and understands that it's not religion that is fucked up, it's the so called "followers" of christ that are fucked up. (Although some passages in all religious books are fucked up to some degree)

  • u dont want heaven? hahahha..heaven dont want u either dumb ass..burn in hell!

  • @abbynady Wow such a fantastic example of christian love and respect....

  • I just found your video so I don't know much about how you got here to this place in your view but I am curious, were upset by the Christian religion or your personal relationship with God? ( I am not using a tone or trying to come off as rude, just really curious)

  • I agree. =) I really hate when fanatics tell I should behave according to their beliefs because otherwise I won't get to go to Heaven... Like you said, most of the time they can't even agree over what is heaven anyways. And I hate the assumption that I would want to go to their heaven. I'm so happy I found your video. Keep up the good work.

  • another thing to keep in mind is that those who are screwed over temporarily on earth are at the top of the ladder for all eternity in heaven. and actually we should stop all aid to africa, just my opinion.

  • AntiTheist isnt that what christopher hitchens calls himself

  • "Last shall be first" has nothing to do with our social standing here on Earth. It has to do with not putting yourself on a pedestal, even if you deserve to be on one. Jesus, by all rights, is King. Yet He was born in a manger, and as an adult lowered Himself to the status of a servant, even going as far as to wash the feet of His own disciples.

  • @SummerSunshine1988 All those examples you gave ARE of social status here on earth.

  • @AngieAntiTheist : Not really. It has to do with how you act. In other words, putting others before yourself.

  • You're a woman...what the hell do you know, dumb broad.

  • Love your presentations. Couldn't have said it better.

  • @choices1111 Thank you :)

  • @AngieAntiTheist but.... Angie you don't know how to read Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic or Greek. Not that I am objecting to what you say, because I am not. If you really want to be effective against the others it would be helpful to learn the languages that these historical books were written in. I do not agree with what the Christian preachers teach today. I think there is a lot of ignorance. One thing I do

  • @AngieAntiTheist ...know is that knowing the languages of these texts might make you and might make these people who argue with you think differently. But.. hey, we can all theorize about it based on these crudely translated bibles and other scriptures. So here's an idea. What if when he said "the first shall be the last" he was talking about religions? first came Judaism, then came Christianity and last came Islam.

  • @AngieAntiTheist ...What if he was saying that Muslims would be first in Heaven? After all, Muslims say that Jesus will come back and fight the antichrist and then say "hey everyone, maybe you should follow Muhammad because he is not so bad". What are your comments on this?

  • Milk Money and Madness talks about that situation you mentioned regarding Nestle have you read it?

  • @yogangel7 I hadn't read it. Thanks for the recommendation - it looks good. I'm proud I breastfed my son. :)

  • @AngieAntiTheist but u do realize that rich ppl are evil and eat teh childrenz and beat up poor ppl and are republicanz and r racistz and all tis has binz pruved by teh sciencez (experements cunduckted by mez!)

  • now in heaven all will be in one body with God, the social hierarchies are judged only by God, and to believe that the ones who have suffered will be higher than us middle class is not suppose to be an apologetic (Jesus was well poor, born in a manjor) but us as christians must be willing to help them, help those that are suffering don't let them suffer and say that all will be better a proverb of the rich man and poor man, how the rich man never helped the poor man, the rich man went to hell

  • @thechadman1X let God do the judgments, and we must help thosae that do suffer, and believe me, no one in this world lived without suffering, but God has rewards for those, and yes the trails and tribulations we all go through (then we think that God says sorry here you go, which is totally wrong) will test our faith, but when Jesus died on the cross (which probably means nothing to you) he took away all suffering in the afterlife for those who believe, and provides happiness for eternity

  • It should be pointed out that Hell has better music than Heaven. Heaven has trippy harp music, while hell has metal \m/. Also, both heaven & hell are just extra-large gated communities...I guess racism also exists in the afterlife. Heaven & Hell do/did exist...great band, love the song "Bible Black"...R.I.P. RJD...and since it's Dec. 8...R.I.P. dimebag darrell. Dio & Dime, 2 metal gods \m/

  • im an agnostic, and i think that phrase is a metaphor...Let the first be last or the last be first, how did you conclude that rich people are first and poor people who suffered badly are last?

  • @swisscheesepotatochi It's certainly what I was taught as a Christian growing up.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Actually me, too, i was a christian too...lol

  • @swisscheesepotatochi

Another answer is how does anybody know any of that crap? If there is some ambiguity and hence room for interpretation then it seems you are bing asked to play Russian roulette with the meaning of another person's words. You might be better off asking a theist, who will tell you it requires 'context', then proceed to cite the context that god intended, while pretending that context is not as subjective as the original ambiguity which they are cherry picking a context for.

  • No hierarchies in hell, satan's a fair guy, everyone gets fucked equally.

  • Every-fucking-one is fucking africa.

  • Science doesn't matter to religious people, because they are brain washed zombies you say?

  • @Xxxzcuzxxx Nope, never said anything of the sort.

  • @AngieAntiTheist I have Tourettes......I just HAD to leave a comment >_<

  • Which from my understanding has nothing to do with Heaven. Heaven is a whole other topic.

  • Also relates to the parable about the king throwing a wedding party for his son and the people who invited gave excuses why they couldn't attend. So the king sent for anyone and everyone else to come. In the parable the invitation was given to the jews upon rejection it was given to others.

  • From my understanding of the first shall be last and the last shall be first is greatly different from what you were taught. I believe most take this out of context. From my understanding Jesus' first were the Jews. Jesus' last were all non-Jews. The Jews were given the opportunity FIRST; all others were given the opportunity LAST. The Jews rejected and crucified Jesus. Then the Good News was spread to the rest of the world. Making the tail the head.

  • I bet this idea helped bring willing converts to Christendom, seeing as how poverty has been the norm for much of history.

  • If people could get the concept of eternity they would realize it's hell

  • Heaven is a cube of about 1,500 metres and there are fights happening there. Read your bible.

  • @yiggoto Don't give away the good stuff yet! Tee-hee.

  • Just think, those wretches who were last down here will be first in heaven, but first in what? Front row shouting "Holy, holy, holy" non-stop for all eternity? Insult to injury.

  • If Christians truly believed what their bibles say they would all give up their property and move to Africa.

  • I really love how so many atheists like you seem concerned about actually doing something to make people's lives better instead of blaming it on them or waiting for god to act.

  • Well it doesn't really matter how the rich are treated in Heaven. It also states in the Bible that "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to go to heaven." I guess that means if they do make it to heaven, they will be a HUGH MINORITY. We all know how mankind feels about how they treat any minority escpecially if their numbers are incredibly small.

  • The christian concept of heaven is not a place I want to spend eternity in. There is no free will in heaven I have even had christians say so.

  • @HonestTechnoAtheist Yes, because if free will is permitted, then sin is permitted. Or ELSE it's possible for god to give humanity free will without having sin in the world, and he just likes sin.

  • @AngieAntiTheist

well in the garden of eden there was no sin .. there's no such thing as a perfect world . and have you read the book of job ? bad things happen to good people .

  • @cAyLa2196ROXurSOX Because a monstrous god decides to take a bet with Satan. Yeah, I've read Job. It's not exactly an endorsement for your religion.

  • @cAyLa2196ROXurSOX the "garden of eden" account predates Genesis and is copied from Sumarian cuneiform as was the flood account. The Jews which xtianity is suppossed to be based on viewed the 'eden' account as an allegory of growing up, not something literal at all. The closest argument that could be made for it to being literal is that it's an account specifically of the creation of "YHWA's" people only which is why there could be a people in Nod for Cain to go to. Perfect world=only in yr view

  • @HonestTechnoAtheist

We know what your idea of heaven is and it's no good. I mean most of us don't think being on our knees receiving cumload after cumload on our heads from daddy andhis mates is something we would like. But you perform this on a weekly basis for dad and mates. Anyone who thinks this is heaven has some real issues criticising anyone else's views!!

  • why is greed terrible?

  • the horrors that are put upon people aren't God's fault , the greatest gift God gave everyone is free will [:

  • @cAyLa2196ROXurSOX Aw, did god give me the free will to grow up in an abusive cult and be sexually molested from the time I was seven? Because if so, I'd like to castrate that god of yours.

  • @AngieAntiTheist

well you have to realize , that it wasn't your free will to be abused . it was whoever that demented piece of crap who molested you's free will and he abused it . trust me I've been abused too and it's not God's fault .. I actually smile at the fact that all my abusers will go to hell .

  • @cAyLa2196ROXurSOX I know I didn't pick to be abused! God how fucked up is your head? That men was a sick fuck, but if your god is real, he was an accomplice to my molestation. He sat there & watched & did nothing, like another fucking pervert.

  • @cAyLa2196ROXurSOX then you have absolutely zero understanding about free will. Read the reformers such as Luther's "Bondage of the Will."

Free Will outside of the context of religious calling and salvation enters the realm of philosophy instead.

  • the ad on your video was 'study the bible online". doesn't google check for placement appropriateness?

  • Whats wrong with her moles O_o They fit her :) Awsome video!

  • @AngieAntiTheist

Yes, that makes them even more culpable, imo, now. ><; Grrr. And I used to eat their chocolate bars in high numbers every day. UCK!

  • Great fucking video. Is it wrong to be proud to be a woman after watching this video? I sure am.

  • "Last," "first," "middle class" in a "social hierarchy?" you are assuming these exist. All that is written is that the last will be first. You don't know what that means and besides, if you look at the context, it's being a servant and humble. Anyway, I understand that you are responding to an argument, but you claimed at the beginning that you are using the "source material," so I thought it would be best to judge you based upon that.

  • @owchywawa

And, in the context of those times, what ELSE could they mean? Please do enlighten me...?

  • great video. i love your stuff!

  • First shall be last is nothing more than a method of control. The more shit you take in this life, the faster you get on the celestial pony ride. I hope you talk more about using religion as a tool for control in the following episodes.

  • Amazing points Angie I agree 100%

  • Brilliant point. Thanks Angie!

  • I like what Mark Twain had to say about heaven & hell.

  • To add I also think last of earth first n heaven it a way to control and manipulate the desperate and poor. I don't really think the pope thinks he's going to be last b heaven lol.

Why can't I find a smart hot atheist girl like u around here. "sighs"

  • This series is gonna be AWESOME thanks for this Angie

  • Re your last line: how fun can heaven be? Reminds me of a cartoon I once saw in the New Yorker. Fellow, obviously recently arrived in heaven, lying on a cloud. He says, "boy, sure wish I brought a magazine."

  • you dear need to let allah into your life.

  • Its not just that the water was dirty. Some mothers didnt know to mix it with water and were feeding the powder to the kids stright, others were mixing it too thin trying to make the powder last longer.

  • @snowmoutain01 Good points. I was nursing during Hurricane Katrina, and donated breastmilk along with other women in my area (you have to ship 100 oz at a time thru the Human Milk Bank.) I remember reading several babies on formula were dying because their parents couldn't prepare it in the disaster setting. Whereas boobs are so convenient you can take them with you in a crisis.... I nursed 18 months & am happy not to do it ever again lol.

  • Whatever lets them sleep at night. Hard core Christians don't need this world, they have the next (see a John Hagee or TrustinJC video). This world is only something to endure,a trial to see who's worthy. Pull up the ladders, for we are saved! -- and fuck the rest of humanity.

  • I wasn't aware of this heaven hierarchy. Another thing to LOL about. I have a nitpicky question/point though. The phrase was about first and last (whatever that actually means?). At 3:20 you say that if you're rich then you were first on Earth (and therefore last in heaven) even if you were moral or not. How did you arrive at linking financial status on this first/last scale? Does the bible elaborate on it?

I didn't know about Nestle and Africa. How sad.

    Great video. Thanks for exposing!

  • I adore your whole outlook.

  • See, most rich people are such, rich, due to being assholes who do not care. VERY rarely will you get a multi millionair who gives a shit about the public. Nestle people DO NOT care, thus they are rich. Or people pass the buck- 'it's not my fault, I just work here' excuse.

But very sweet of you to try Angie.

  • I'm excited about this series!

  • As a young child my family told me Heaven was going to be the most amazing place where everyone was happy. You get to do anything you want! Surf 1000 foot waves or anything! Now that I'm older and an atheist, I can see they were trying to brain wash me to the most the could. In the Bible it even says that we get to praise God for eternity. Fuck, pleeease spare me! That's HELL!

  • In my opinion, that discription was mostly about keeping the poor poor, while the rich stay rich. "yes yes, keep handing your hard earned cash over to the church, you will be rewarded for it in the end". This keeps the poor in the gutter, exactly where the church needs them to be. No money means no education, so no one understands that they are crap, so they tithe they're money to the church who gets rich...which keeps them poor....The first will be the last... Man, the pope is fucked!

  • i want 72 virgins.

  • tters

  • Both you and christianity are alike in this video. You both praise altruism and sacrifice for sacrfice sake. The thiests worship suffering by makeing it holy. You and the rest of the left worship suffering by makeing it a duty of the well to serve the unhappy. Besides if you really want to help the poor in the third world. they only way is if they accept economic freedom and if you invest you money into businesses that you think will make you money in return(they give jobs to people if that ma.

  • @greenghost2008 Yeah, because pure laissez faire has worked out so well so far.

  • @Maxdwolf where is there pure laissez faire? It exsist? I want to move there.

  • @greenghost2008 Every time a society moves closer to it, it suffers. Witness the labor struggles we went through. What do you think brought that on? Was it because workers were just spoiled w. all the riches being handed to them? What about the injustices mention in this video? The pressures of economic "freedom" are what brought this kind of crap about.

  • @greenghost2008

    rest of the "left"?

  • This is why chirstianity is inhuman.

  • @greenghost2008 Christianity is insanity.

  • @JAEDOGNYC I agree

  • i wish i had the faith in humanity to really believe that people would really open their eyes about companies like Nestlé and make them stop. I have lost all hope a long time ago and i really envy those who still believe that we have the power to make changes like that.

  • when i was a kid, in my religion classes, the teacher always talked about god's kingdom, and i was imagining a real castle and always wondered how everyone would fit in that one place XD

  • @Sal0pe69 "in my religion classes, the teacher always talked about god's kingdom, and i was imagining a real castle and always wondered how everyone would fit in that one place XD "

    Adorable!

  • ive said it before and after hearing your accounts in just this video i will say it again with pride.

if that's their idea of heaven i gladly burn in hell

  • I believe the earth is our heaven or hell, its how we make.Once you die your dead, don't think none of us is going to come back and say yeah I've been there, here's pictures to prove it.

  • that blue shirt suits you miss angela.

  • Interesting point. I've always wondered about JC's parable about Lazarus, the suffering beggar & the unnamed rich man. JC said almost nothing about the character of these characters, only that the beggar died & went to heaven while the rich man went to hell. Lazarus the beggar got to go to heaven because he was poor & miserable when he was alive. I look forward to your next vid.

  • I've recently had an argument with a Christian where I called his god evil because of the existence of needless suffering. I mentioned how right now an innocent child is dying painfully in Africa. He hasn't lived long enough to commit any sin and he won't live long enough to "develop character" from his suffering. therefore, his God is evil.

The theist replied that the suffering is minor because he will go to heaven. So apparently, torture doesn't matter if you get to go to Disney World after.

  • @bowlsallbroken If we make the generous concession that God exists, though, we cannot judge his morals or actions, right? If he exists, he is infinitely more wise than humans. Maybe the suffering in the world is part of a greater plan that is ultimately worth the sacrifice. We could not hope to assess him because we lack the ability to comprehend his logic or motives. Again, this is IF we assume that there is a Judeo-Christian god. PS It's a silly argument from the theist; don't take advantage.

  • @Cyclone0830

Yup, that's what they resort to *after* I use my above scenario to take away the usual "we are all sinners who deserve hell" and "suffering gives us character/insight into our fellow humans" explanations.

It's the whole "God's ways are mysterious" bologna. The suffering of the child in that scenario is nothing but senseless torture and no omnipotent and benevolent god would allow it, period. There's no rational way for theists to talk themselves out of it.

  • @bowlsallbroken I think the point is that if God indeed exists (which is a big assumption), he can be outside rationality and logic as we know it. After all, he is said to have created those things. If he exists and he also created our sense of right and wrong, he is outside of that as well. The point is that it would be beyond us to understand such a being.

  • @Cyclone0830

"The point is that it would be beyond us to understand such a being. "

Then why should we assume it is right to worship him?

Bare in mind that a truly omnipotent and omniscient being can not only bring about any state of affairs he wishes, he can also alter/create the nature of reality in such a way that those desired ends arise by the most desirable means. Ends = means.

Ergo, if the Christian god exists, he desires innocent children to suffer as an end in and of itself.

  • You are intelligent, knowledgeable and articulate. I would give you a hug if I could. Have a nice day.

  • @SirBlackAcid Lol, thank you! I'll be sure to get a hug in your name :)

  • First of all, this is a misinterpretation. Secondly, this is a complaint, and does nothing regarding the existence of God.

  • Some years ago I watched a program about Jeffrey Dahmer. While in prision Jeffery's pastor believed that Jeffery had repented and was now in heaven. I don't believe in heaven so I don't believe Jeffery is in heaven but christians believe that it is possible for someone who has commited the kinds of hanis crimes the Jeffery did to find jesus, repent and be in heaven. Can you imagine someone who has done these hanis things for pleasure in a place that is supposed to be heavenly?

  • I think the idea as put forward apologists like Lewis in regard to understanding what heaven will be like is that we are incapable of comprehending it. The analogy used by Lewis is of a 5 year old who loves chocolate. When he is (perhaps unadvisedly) told how wonderful sex is, he asks "Do you eat chocolate while having sex?" A parallel question is: "Will the ones we love on earth be in heaven with us?" Again, I'm not Christian; I am discussing the difference between atheism and antitheism.

  • Ugh, I LOVE this! Your attitude makes this really fun. Thanks, Angie.

  • Speaking of Africa:

    watch?v=w8Ko0rCzabA

And anyone who thinks formula can replace breast milk ought to do a taste test on both. Formula tastes like chalk water, breast milk tastes like cantaloupe juice.

  • Just when I thought I had heard about every argument against Xtianity, I hear something fresh like this. Why, some ask, do atheists spend so much time arguing about something they don't believe in? Because apologists have a lot of arguments that some people find convincing, and it's good to counter those.

  • The original context of my question was discussing the difference between atheist and antitheism. You are talking about why heaven doesn't make sense, and why the biblical portrayal of it is unjust. I'm with you on both counts. What I'm saying is, wouldn't it be great if we somehow could live forever in happiness, whatever the price for 80 years on earth? Even the "last" in heaven would presumably be infinitely more happy than the happiest person on earth. PS I'll be able to video respond soon.

  • @Cyclone0830

In my opinion, living forever automatically means it wont be in happiness. I want my consciousness to end, eventually (though preferably only after many thousands of years), I would like to be able to preserve my experiences so others can share them if they so desire, but thats about it. Living forever... how tedious.

  • @WavegirlThinks I agree that with the type of consciousness homo sapiens possess, everlasting happiness is unattainable. What I'm getting at is this: Assuming that somehow it WAS possible to go to a spiritual dimension with a different type of consciousness where everlasting happiness WAS possible, it seems obvious that it would be preferable to the neutral state of not existing at all. No matter how much I had to give up during my earthly life to get that happiness, it would be worth it.

  • @Cyclone0830

A different type of consciousness? The change to my consciousness would have to be great for me to enjoy eternity (especialy with others suffering apparently needlessly). if so, would such a changed being really be me? Or just something else that has access to my experiences?

  • @WavegirlThinks Again, I'm just playing God's advocate, here. What I've been told is that in this new consciousness, you would no longer be concerned with or feel earthly emotion like compassion and sympathy. Somehow, being in the presence of God forever is all you need to be happy. I'm not arguing that it makes sense; I'm arguing that it would be good if it did. It would be a good thing if we could be happy for eternity, as the Bible says.

  • @Cyclone0830 If I didn't feel compassion or sympathy, I wouldn't be me. Those are not only part of who I am, they are at the Core. When I was a Christian, my mom told me we were eternal beings in mortal bodies, but that never felt true. Eternity is unfathomable to us, like the vast reaches of space - they're hard to truly contemplate. Nothing about the way our minds react to concepts like eternity makes me think we're built for it or would like it.

  • @AngieAntiTheist I feel as if I am defending something I don't want to defend. You are explaining why eternal happiness is impossible. I'm inclined to agree with you, but I'm saying it would be great if it was.

  • @Cyclone0830

I know where you're trying to come from. But a being that would lack compassion etc just wouldnt be me. The earthly emotions that I feel are a fundemental part of me; to alter them is create different being. Like a split personality inhabiting my soul instead of my body. It wouldnt really be me. So even if that heaven did exist I would still consider ME to experience a true death, with only my experiences being kept forever by some other being.

  • @Cyclone0830 No. I wouldn't WANT eternity. Part of what makes life so sweet is the passage of time, moving from one thing to the next, with trepidation and excitement, and reflecting on things gone, whether good memories or narrow escapes.

  • @Cyclone0830 (pt 2) I loved my son as an infant and I love him now, but I am GLAD he wasn't an infant for all of the last four years. I wouldn't even wanna stay 27 forever, although I do think this is probably the best I'm gonna look ;p Change requires time, and there is no time in eternity.

  • @AngieAntiTheist Once more and then I'll drop it. Christians say it is better than anything we can possibly imagine. Things you can imagine include change and the passage of time, your son, your youth, etc. If eternal life in heaven was good enough to make you want it, would you want it? It's absolutely circular and illogical (as is much of Christianity), but the answer is yes. Christians claim it is that good, and while that seems highly doubtful, I still think it would be great if it was true.

  • Google: Hellish NDE's.

    Hell will not be fun.

  • It seems there's no marriage in the biblical heaven, which to me makes it sound like I can't be with a girlfriend/or wife for all eternity. Sad... :-/

  • @BriFi13 That made me very sad when I was younger... the thought of just existing in heaven without that person attached to me in a place where no cheating, fighting, etc. happens was one of the first nails in the coffin of my faith.

  • I LOVED the portion of your program on heaven. THIS is coming from a Christian... Unitarian Universalist. I absolutely agree.

However, I would just like to remind that not everyone who can breastfeed will choose it. Unfortunately, corporations such as Nestle are culpable for putting roadblocks in the way to keep women FROM choosing it.

  • @fuuinekusu I even used formula myself, briefly, while on antibiotics. But formula requires sanitary water to mix it with, which is easily accessible in the US and not so in much of Africa. Nestle, full aware of this, pushed their product to uneducated women under the guise of medical advice. They *slaughtered* those babies.

And people call ME a baby killer...

  • It's also lopsided, because earth has an end and the afterlife dosn't.It would mean that people suffer here for a minute, and are rewarded with no end,and people who were well off here for a minute will suffer with no end.Great reward for not so great suffering, great punishment for not so great life here.WTF?

  • Comment removed

  • Good job Angie. Keep bring people's attention to the big and real horrors of this world. It will always tie in with religion.

  • wow, the company going to africa and doing that to those poor people is just mind boggling to me. Angie, thank you soo much for all of your videos. you make everything so logical, and whenever my friends or family try to make me feel guilty for my lack of faith, you make me feel understood.

  • @AtomicExplosion95695 All night long :)

  • @AngieAntiTheist Lol I love you. :D And I don't understand how people can be so fucking rude.

  • @AtomicExplosion95695

Moles were often known as beauty marks and false ones were actually applied to the face by young ladies not so long ago. For example, look at Miss Charlotte in the new movie, The Princess and the Frog- when the prince reaches her party, Charlotte powders her face and applies a small mark on her lip- a beauty mark. A mole.

There's your impromptu history lesson. Go learn to be a better person. <3

  • @AtomicExplosion95695 How do you get laid insulting nice ladies like that?

  • @AtomicExplosion95695

How do you get through life with your giant moronic brain?

  • well said heaven is just a lie to keep people riseing up agenst there opressers in the past and now too

  • This is awesome, can't wait for the rest of the series. I hope you also make a video about the non-biblical idea of heaven too though. Talk about what it is so many people ACTUALLY believe in, the idea of a "utopia" where you have no free will because no one does anything bad or a place where your friends who didn't believe in God or committed a certain sin don't get to join you because they're stuck in "hell", etc. I can't imagine a heaven I'd want to go to. So I'd love for you to address that.

  • I commend you for bringing up the horrors in Africa. And that was some sweet ass logic showing the middle class always being the middle class for eternity. But really as a human race we should be helping Africa right now. There is some fucked up shit going on over there. And of course our govt' don't give a shit because they can't get anything out of it. And about the video, heaven what a crock of shit. Anything to butter up the sheeple.

  • wait I fucked up I meant to say if you are a gentile I wouldn't worry about the bible ah you know what I mean.

  • people dont suffer on earth to get a better place i heaven. they are suffering o nearth becasue of the bad situation they are in

  • Love is the supernal suggestion under your own true free will.If your not a gentile I wouldn't worry about the bible.

  • Of course Hell is better. Yahweh isn't there.

  • the average go dust to dust. remember? ;) btw, "suffering" doesn't only mean physical. i agree with "greed," which has nothing to do with any religion. your hatred toward "Christianity" is unfounded. your doctrine on Heaven is completely falsified. you don't get to go to heave because you were "last." lolz. if you don't know God or the Bible, don't even talk about them. it's making you very ignorant. ;)

  • @ThickShades Angie knows the Bible bettter than most people in America, including you and me. Plus, calling out BS where one sees it is not an "unfounded Hatred". It's calling out BS.

  • @MegaVolcano from what she's spewing out, she has utterly no clue about the Bible.

  • @ThickShades Clearly you have no clue what you're talking about, because if you watched any of her videos you'd know that she was raised in an extremely fundimentalist family and lived and breathed the bible for 90% of her life. Perhaps you should do a little more research before talking about things to which you have no knowledge.

  • Nestle did that? wow, no more Nestle products for me & my family..... I wonder what other large companies do this type of shit to people. (I think most companies do)

  • @madjimms Hersheys & Mars both use child labor in the production of their chocolate :(

  • @AngieAntiTheist ohh now i will looks twice when i buy my chocolate to make sure i don't buy from these companies. I can't understand how people can be so thoughtless about life, They don't know the value of life and that's so frustrating, they are committing crimes and are not paying for it. I guess we should thank the mighty dollar for that.

  • @Sal0pe69 With chocolate you pretty much have to look for the "Fair Trade" label or otherwise slave labor was involved. I just learned the extent of this recently & am blown away (& sad not to have hershey's syrup anymore.)

I wish companies that used exploitative labor, destroyed the environment, etc. had to use giant labels "We kill poor people so you can buy this plastic crap for cheap!"

  • @AngieAntiTheist 'Hersheys & Mars both use child labor in the production of their chocolate :(' So what? you think Mars and Hersheys are responsible for poverty round the world? What do you think those kids would be doing if they weren't working in chocolate factories? You have to realise that capitalism doesn't create poverty, it inherits it from whatever social system predated it.

  • @dannidandannikins Did I say capitalism created poverty? Did I even use the word "capitalism" at all?

Personally, I'd rather those kids be in SCHOOL than slaving in a chocolate factory so I can have candy bars. Fair trade chocolate or nothing, for me (and I'm poor, so that means nothing lol.)

  • @AngieAntiTheist Then why bring up the subject of Mars and Hersche employing kids? The context in which you did so was a clear condemnation of those companies - even though the alternatives for those kids are basically: i)work for mars; ii) be a prostitute; or iii) starve. Further you've condemned capitalism many times on this thread - whether you used the word 'capitalism' or not is irrelevant - e.g. your endorsement of 'fair trade' companies (which I regard as profoundly evil).

  • @AngieAntiTheist

Heard some stuff about Nike too.

  • @madjimms You may want to consider buying Endangered Species Chocolate. It's great stuff and environmentally more sustainable and ethical. Google 'endangered species chocolate' to check out their site.

  • @ProbableFiction Cool, thanks for sharing that with me, will definitely look it up. :-)

  • well how will rich people get into heaven when Jesus says its easy for camel to enter eye of needle....

  • I'll join your club1

  • Nice to know there's no equality in heaven either. But don't forget the rich can't get into heaven.. that whole eye of the needle and camel thing? LOL. Good job Angie. Looking forward to the sequels.

  • Oooo if only the anti-corporate supports would put down the bong turn off the shity music and do something it's a dream equivalent to getting rid off currency.

The problem is that we're a large group with to many weekend warriors.

  • @BlakeLBoggs "Oooo if only the anti-corporate supports would put down the bong turn off the shity music and do something"

Well, I put down my bong & turned off the shitty music long enough to research the issues & bring light to them through my YouTube videos. How's just being snarky about activism working out for you? Fatalism is for quitters :p

  • @AngieAntiTheist

All you know is my name and you assume that I do nothing more post fatalist snarky comments about the anti-corporate movement, really?

Will you not admit that there is a large percent with in this group whom are no more than talk.

It's a joke, I have hope for said movement, sorry I'm starting to realize people don't understood the nonce of my humor.(That sounds snobby as all hell doesn't it.)

  • But Angie! Don't you have faith in capitalism? You must be a commie! Don't you embrace having less oversight/taxation/accountability of major corporations? That's SO unamerican of you! Don't you realise that the people in these multinational corporations only have our best interests in mind? Plus, so what if a bunch of silly people died in Africa? Ceo's have to put food on the table for their families too! (Even if it's served on solid gold plates) What do you have against Amurrrica?

  • I agree totally about Hell being a lot more fun. I've been told several times that gay people (like me) can't get into Heaven. That means to me that Hell must be full of gay people. When I go out, I tend to have a lot more fun among the gay people than among the straight and holier-than-thou. When gay people take over a neighborhood, they turn it fabulous. Hell must, therefore, be the most fabulous place there ever were.

  • If you're gonna have a series on what's wrong with heaven, you're gonna have one 'hell' of a long series!

  • Good point.

I like the way you think.

  • Mark Twain wrote some good satirical stuff about heaven.
