I bought my 2008 1250S new two years ago, and I've got 10,000 miles on it now. I've owned 14 different motorcycles in the last 31 years, and it is simply the finest all-around riding experience I've ever had. I've got the Yoshimura S3 slip-on, the chin fairing and the hugger fender, and I'm getting the Suzuki sport-touring windscreen put on tomorrow morning. If you want to pose, get a Hayabusa. If you want to RIDE, get a Bandit 1250S.
I am seriously thinking of a new Bandit 1250. I am rebuilding my 2nd KZ900 and I rent Harleys with friends 2-3 times a year. The last Road King I rented is 250 lbs more than the Bandit and twice the price. The HD wore me out, with it bulk. The Bandit 1250 sounds like a great "Do Everything" bike. Amazing machine, more powerful than anyone expects and pefectly balanced. You'll forget it weighs 500 lbs. The ABS is also flawless, and a great idea at only an extra $500 USD.

I'm liking the idea of a nice K7 650 but tbh my MK1 N600 is flawless i love it to bits, can't bloody kill the thing no matter how hard i try

I agree, for the money it can't be beat. Optional saddle bags and tail bag make it an excellent tourer.

I just bought an 08 bandit 1250 and it brings back the memories of my old V65 magna. And they have a very similar power band. I've checked Dyno #'s.
