@abfabinri on the hidden seashore/ white as a dove/ we got thirsty at noon/ but the water was brakish/ on the blonde sand/ we wrote her name/ nice that blew off the sea breeze/ and the scripture was erased/ with what heart, with what breath/ what desires and what passion/ we took our life incorrectly/ and we changed life
This is wonderful, this is when Maria had the most magic in her voice, True young sound, no forcing. I loved her laterwork as well but this time was magic!!!.
@20845stefano on the secluded beach, white like adove, we got thirsty at noon but water was sour. on the fair sand we wrote her name the breeze nicely blew and the writing was erased. with what a heart, breath, pain and passion we took the wrong path in our life and we changed our way of life.
Quelle jolie vidéo avec ce mélange des langues (paroles en Français, traduction en allemand et chanson en grec). Merveilleuse Babel européenne. Grand compositeur aussi et belle interprète
That comment would make more sense if your English was at the same level or better than that of JimmyTheGreek but it is clear that you you do not speak English well.
And how young and handsome Lakis Karnezis was! He is such a great bouzouki player.
With a Norwegian choir, "Trønderkor", I had the honor of singing with Lakis (now living in Norway) on a live CD in 1999 with songs composed by both Theodorakis and Karnezis.
emoun poli meckri, ke den katalava tis lexis, alla tora ta kalalaveno, ke enai ta pyo orea tragoudia. Evharistou stin Mana mou kai pateras mou kai e yai-yai mou, to me emathan na katalevo af thn orea glossa. These songs can be best understood in their original form, in Greek.
No other voice which goes so much deep inside, which is so real. Thanks maria farantouri for giving your songs to us, thanks, thanks! Depression ist flying away.
with this wonderful song I found - by a chance - contact to the great music of Mikis Theodorakis and the wonderful voice of Maria Farantouri. It was my first record of Greek music I ever bouhgt and since then I am so much into this world. Now I do not only speak Greek, but Maria became a friend and I ever will love her voice and her warm personality. Wonderful to find this video here, thanks to them who published it out here.

El discurso de Theodorakis algo pedante y demodé, la pureza de estilo y la juventud de María Farandouri conmovedoras...
